Remove the white mounting bracket for the radio and then the REC Nav bolts right in.

So does this mean a factory Navigation unit can be installed if it doesn't come that way stock?

Yes, all you need is the Nav unit, GPS antenna and the Silver Nav bezel. Plugs right in, very easy install.
where do you place the antenna ?

I had to order the antenna and it won’t be here till next week. From what I’ve read, it’s taped to the bottom side of the air vent, away from any thing metal.
So im assuming that the antenna doesnt have to be in conjunction with a direct line of sight to the sky ?

I'm not 100% sure about that but this is what it looks like.

Hey there guys, Ontario DCX worker here to answer your question. The Nav Antenna can be mounted anywhere there is a clear sight to the outside without any metal obstructions. Cannot be mounted inside the Dash where a signal can be blocked by internal wiring or metal flanges, IP braces, etc. etc. Best place to mount the unit where the factory actually mounts it is in the upper Dash underneath near the center, beside the Ambient outside light sensor sits. There should be a mounting location in that spot use two sided tape. Difficult to screw the unit in place as in the factory they are mounted near the driver dash panel close to the Windshield and screwed on with two screws to the IP. Unit must sit horizontally. This is for the best signal quality and the more sat signals you have the better the accuracy of the unit. You can also mount the GPS antenna right on top of the radio but the signal quality would be degraded. Hope this helps.
