Factory Alarm

Ok, heres my question (and yes i searched the forums and didnt find anything that answered)... does the factory alarm only come with the ELECTRONIC CONVINIANCE PACKAGE, or does it come standard in the SXT?

im guessing it does not come with it, since i cant seem to get it to arm correctly. BUT, why would i still have the alarm light on my instrument panel.

There's an audible alarm on the car? Ugh...dunno how I feel about that...those things are just worthless and annoying.

page 25 i think in the manual. its the small circle red dot on the left cluster of the instrument panel.

BUT, why would i still have the alarm light on my instrument panel.Why would I have automatic headlights, but a switch that blocked their use? Sometimes you sleep better when you don't ask these sorts of questions.

You might share an instrument panel, but the Charger brochure indicates that the Security Alarm is only available on RTs and up in the Elec Conv Group Pkg or the SRT opt grp II
