Sucessfully installed uconnect. It works fine. All that remains is to go to dealer and get him to do a starscan so the canbus will recognize the that I have the uconnect and thus the number called, battery life. ect will show up on the speedometer. I have little confidence that the dealer will figure this out in an efficient fashion. Does anyone have the steps that a tech must go through on the starscan to do this enable?

Sorry, I can't help directly... but I know this was discussed on one of the u-connect threads a few months back. You can find it and see.

I agree 100%
They also have a PDF on how to install the fact. U-connect.

UConnect Install Guides

mnunes Install guide: http://www.moparsupercenter.com/bb/u...ct_install.pdf

and for those with out the connector in the Driver A-pillar, there are postings about that, and I did a write up on how to get the auto-dim and mirror back lighting working for those with out the A-pillar connector.
