When I saw the first Sublime at this dealer, it had an additional price sticker - $4000 market adjustment. Now their latest is advertising $4000 off.

Man would I be kicking myself if I paid sticker or more!

You know when this dealer got the first two Sublimes in, they were either in the show room, or under a porch roof so they would stay shiney and clean. At one time, the showroom Sublime was locked so you couldn't even sit in it.

Now they are out under the big Dodge sign getting bird crap all over them.

Probably just that. Although the odometer can display either, on my EVIC. Not sure if this possibility is available to those without EVIC.

Maybe warning labels and other stuff around the car has to be bilingual, too?

In the past, it used to be that we got our own emissions requirements (or rather, LESS stringent requirements) but I think things have become common across both US and Canada for at least 15 years now.

1500 US models and 150 Canadian models.

This applies for all Daytonas, although I'm not sure if every colour has followed the one-tenth rule. (mine is one of 200 total Canadian models, which was capped at 1/10 of the 2500 US production).

I also read on here recently about a small run of un-numbered Daytona models made for foreign (Mexico?) markets, above and beyond the Canadian and US production.

I never would have taken the plunge except our pickup truck broke down four times. Once coil, once O2 sensor, once tranny and once from rat infestation. Being a two car family is fine unless you live out in the forest miles away from everything. Thank goodness we have a good dealer--they even bought us a rental car for a while.

What a fantastic car!---like it much better than the r/t I test drove (probably placebo, though, they are very similar) The dealer in Dallas had the windows tinted. I took 2 chicks/women/colleagues from my job on a test drive and they loved it, too. If you were wondering....Arkansas rednecks DO like the car (like myself) and I hear lots of "GET ER DONE!" and the like with the windows down.

The Lincoln Presidential museum is just a few steps from the event and also well worth the price of admission if you're interested in history. A bunch of us have already gotten reservations at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel. The show rate is $84/night which is not too bad considering it's right downtown where the show is. (that way we just leave the cars parked and walk to the hotel)

Anyway, I'll quit rambling and just say I LOVE this car.

Today was my WORST DAY ever. Saw three, yes "3" Sublime Daytona's on the road. One was parked at an Airport, one I actually followed to a gas station, only to find out it was a rental car from Thrifty Rent a Car. aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Oh tell me it isn't so
I pulled up and was all set to give him an LX Club business card, when I asked if it was his car. He said, No it's a thrifty rental, they upgraded me and I got this
We discussed the car, he told me, "I went up against one of those chargers with the hood scoop yesterday & got my ass handed to me"
Then he tells me, if you turn off the ESP switch, you can really smoke em.
I said, (are you paying attention Junior) no you can't, I have one, my friends have them. Daytona's don't burn out. He said, well watch this, and he proceded to burn a solid 100 feet, smoke rolling out of the wells. I stood there dumbfounded. Now I've been powerbraking since before this little snot nose was born. He sure made me feel like a fool.

hardess part was taking the old manifold out. damn heat shields get in the way.
i have locking header bolts i got from Summit racing so i wont need to worry about bolts bacing out except for 3-4 of them couldnt get the locks on.

I found # 869. Still for sale at Napleton Dodge in North Palm Beach, FL. Looks just about fully optioned. I am going to go take a look at it tomorrow to see what type of price they will work on it. Already have them discounting an SRT-8 below invoice...I have 2 dealers bidding against one another to get my business. Of course, it helps when we walk in and tell them we are looking at buying 2 Dodge vehicles. :)

Chargers are awesome in general ( dispite chrysler/dodge bullying all the aftermarket suppliers on stuff), but the Sublime is the BEST car ive ever owned......Ive had candy painted cars, cars on spinning rims (the first week they were out), cars jacked up on 26s, and the sublime Daytona has brought more attention then any of the 10 custom cars ive owned! (from "ghetto" to old muscle head fans)

Hi all--I just joined this board to post this. I was in San Diego on vacation last weekend and rented a Charger Sublime from Dollar Rent-a-car at the airport. It was a total accident--I just reserved a full size car. They said we had the "green car in spot #15" and my wife and I thought it was hilarious when we saw it. We were going to ask for a different car, but decided it was too good of an opportunity. It was the perfect California "sick ride" (as the doorman at our hotel called it). Great car!!!!!

The plates were from Arizona, so I think it might have been #1245. I didn't realize what a big deal this was until today when I was looking around online for pictures to show people at work.... I should have taken a picture of the numbers!!!!
