You have no chance of competing with him in a street driven Charger. Even a straight drag car built from a 2006 charger it would be tuff to compete with those times and 300mph? That car is sick! Good news is you will probably never pull up next to one at a light

Top Speed doesn't win races too often, and by the way the Latest GTS from URacing gets to 180mph under 8 seconds. And the Viper is designed for higher speeds than most cars, the Lambo is AWD and is limited compared to a Viper. I dont know if anyone has the balls to test the top speed of that car, it would be 260+ easy though.

I dont know for sure but I dont think the viper goes 260+ or does it get to 60 in less than 2 seconds

in either case, a viper wouldnt get to the top speed of the veyron or anywhere close. the drag coefficient on all DCX cars suck.

vette: 0.28
viper: 0.40
veyron: the bugatti design actually changes the cars DC in high speed. its standard 0.41 is changed via panels and spoilers to drop it to 0.36.

the funny thing though is this car is built for high speed AND silence AND comfort. the car weighs as much as our chargers. 4300lbs.

what would be truly amazing is taking two superior engines ex 2 ls7 motors and rolling quad turbo. instead, VW substitutes two weak passat wr8 engines and loads them up with quad turbo.

can you imagine the output of dual american motors running TTTT? lol.

Just noticed something...

Buggati: 0-186mph in 16.7 sec
Underground Racing Viper: 0-183mph in 7.98 sec

Looks like the reason the bugatti can get to 260 is because of the high gearing...DUH :confused:

In the quarter mile the viper would tear the hell out of the bugatti...based off what I see here :D

Oh...no doubt the bugatti is one extreme vehicle in pretty much every situation (cruising, racing, etc., etc.), but for me I prefer fast cars to perform well in the 1/4 and I don't particularly care about much else, so If I had my pick (which I don't) I'd personally chose the viper...but that's just a personal preference (don't take this as me "bashing" the bugatti...it's just not my taste).

Low Gearing...? uhhhh That Viper was going 185mph, and it wasn’t using over-drive that is for sure, most likely 4th gear Thanks :twisted: .... It has a 6 Speed if you didnt notice.

If you think it couldn’t go 250mph with 1800+hp you haven’t scene many cars drive on the salt flats. That Viper would hang that foreign over priced ugly POS out to dry in raw performance anytime anywhere. No It cant turn well, but in strait line racing that Viper is in a class that B will never see.

Bugatti Veyron runs 10.2@149mph thats fast for a stock car. Fastest of any stock car ever. Nearly as fast as my stealth:)

Well, it might not match the Bugatti in top speed, but for only 11,000 dollars, I will outrun it in the 1/4 mile. Bone stock. Meet my Chargers little brother....my ZX14. These bikes have been hitting 9 seconds flat at 153 mph in the 1/4....with less then 1k in mods. (lowering it and with a full exhaust system). This is why I rarely speed in my Charger.

Ah yes... back to the crotch rocket. But it's not a car. Anybody in their right mind driving a car would never try to line up against a bike. Anyway, bet that ninja doesn't do over 200mph:) The Bugatti and the Lambo Murcielago will both do over 200mph bone stock. Not sure about the Bugatti but according to MT the Murcielago LP640 (07' model) will do 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. It will blast to 100mph in 8 seconds. The new Lambo Murcielago has a 6.5L V12 that is pumping out 631hp at 8000rpms and 487 pound-feet of torque at 6000rpms. Might give some bikes a challenge:) But with the new Lambo having a price tag of over 300k and the Bugatti at a cool million, I don't think anybody will be lining up against one anytime soon.

Veyron is over a cool million....more like an icey $1.4 million, set up on the dealer's floor, tax and tags additional. Saw a road test in Beverly Hills where the Veyron was able to hit 130mph between stop lights...that's 0 to 130 to 0. It's a shame to compare tuner cars to exotics like the Veyron. Probably the most civvilized, very fastest, wealthy man's car ever made, anyplace in the world. Only a few will ever see, let alone drive, the Veyron

you must be kidding....

Stock Bikes are fast but thy must pick there races, from a high speed roll there cannon fotter for a high power car.

Hell even my 4000+ lb 4 door, 500 rwhp cady from 120+ walked away from my modded 2003 GSX-R 750, the faster the race got the worse it got for the bike. (and here at 3600 ft the cady ran 12.3@117mph and the GSXR ran 10.8@128mph)

I have seen mid 11 second 600’s get walked by 13 second corvettes from a roll.

I ran down a buddys modded 10.1 second busa in a 10.7 second 3000gt

Destroyed a ZX-10 in a 10.5 second VR-4.... the list goes on.

Biked CD is horrid, thy are fast because thy are light (power to weight) but the faster you go the less power to weight matters and the more drag vs power does matter.

One thing I can tell you is the big CC bikes like the Busa and the ZX-14 despite running close ¼ mile times as the 1000cc new bikes like the R1, GSXR-1000, and ZX-10, do MUCH better in these high speed races then the 1000cc bikes do. Once again proving my point about weight mattering less and less as speeds go up. Just like my modded GSXR-750 could hold it's own VS 1000cc bikes from a stop, but at high speeds forget about it.

I know a bunch of bike guys are going to jump in now and say BS, thy always do till thy run into a true high power car on the highway.

This is what my brother in law is putting in his Cuda. 572 put's out 700HP. Still don't think it has a chance against the Veyron although he thinks it will do a 1/4mile in 10 seconds

There are alot of cars that will do 7 sec quarter miles... but you cant drive in on the street. Some of them idle at 15 mph!!! or stall!!! And then try and get them over 150-160mph... whole different game... this car can be stuck in trafiic as wonderfully as wide open on the freeway!
