Went in for 6k service, was told it would be about an hour. Had a map light that needed fixing too but they came and told me that the bulb they needed wasn't there and that they had to get it from their warehouse down the road and the wait would be about another twenty minutes. My actual wait time was close to three hours.
THe service manager apoligized and said he wouldn't charge me for the 6k service (about $50.00). Keep in mind, I didn't ask for any kind of discount or even complain about waiting, he just took it on his own initiative.
I've had to wait at lots of places for lots of things and rarely has anyone said I'm sorry let alone "eat" the cost of the service.
I'll be going back to Fitzgeralds Auto Mall for future service and recommend anyone in the Frederick Maryland area give them a try.:)
BTW the Chevrolet service isn't bad either though I had my Tahoe serviced about 2 months ago because the engine started running hot, they replaced the clutch fan, and now it's doing the same thing again so we'll see how they handle this.
