the dash system in the cluster. Mine does not have it. On my buddies RT when he turns ignition it has a ram head or something like that and the U connect shows on there also.

Since my car didnt come with it, is it something I can add. If I were to buy a cluster that had the different screen, would it be possible to get it to work...either via dealer scan or something.
i think it came with the package that included steering wheel controls.

is it more than the cluster, is there some sort of brain box under the dash that I would need, similar to the u connect system?

I don't know what would happen if you upgraded to the EVIC cluster. but I worked on a charger the other day that stumped me it had a check engine light for "Implausible fuel level data recieved" the problem ended up being that the car was built with the wrong cluster. It was supposed to have the EVIC but didn't. so I'm not sure what would happen if you went the other way My best guess is that it would work, considering I just checked the part numbers for the Instument Panel wiring harness and it only uses one so the wiring is identical in every car.. But make sure you consider this: The cluster is specially ordered straight from Chrysler every time. and is porgrammed with your mileage. so once you buy it, it's yours, no refunds. And they're about $900
