Although we are not as cool as all you SRT and R/T owners I was wondering if you guys were developing anything in the performence department for the 3.5L guys. Thanks Jeremy

I am working on some stuff that I am not allowed to talk about here because although it is my company too, it is not Power Ported Performance and apperantly that makes it so that I have to pay twice as a Supporting Vendor in order to mention anything related to the products. Early next year, look for some cool toys for the V6 crowd. Sorry I can't provide more details than that.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Steinman

I understand it is a small nuclear reactor linked to a steam turbine. Per Jeremy, it will add almost 10hp at the rear wheels. Installs in the trunk.
Coming soon, so stand by. Remember, it's only a V6, so don't expect much.

To think you have to have a v8 to have horsepower humors me. I could go on and on about stock turbo charged 4 and 6 cylinder cars that out-horsepower any hemi. Don't get me wrong, I love the 5.7 and 6.1 motors, just drove an SRT last week, but I would never put one up to a twin turbo Supra. I'm in the planning stages of doing a turbo on my little v6 with my buddy at Excessive Autosports in South Dakota and and reaching 380 at the wheels is VERY realistic with some fuel management. Just did my exhaust, suspension next, then turbo time. Check out his website at excessiveautosports.com There is a link somewhere on forced induction that shows a photo gallery of all the turbos he has done on 4 to 8 cylinder cars. He made a little old 2.0 litre Honda crank out like 800 h.p. and run 10's in the quarter.

that's hilarious, I too get tired of everyone assuming because you have a V8 you're fast.
The only thing cooler about a quick V8 is how it sounds. The gas mileage, insurance, and other issues outweigh it, in my mind.
Not saying if I didnt have the money I wouldnt buy an SRT8, but realistically, I'd rather be quick AND get good mileage. Look at the new vette.

Chill, big fellas. I am only joking. My previous Charger was a 3.5L, and my other car is a 3.5L Magnum. It is a great motor. 250 hp and very quick. Also smooth and quiet. I like it just as much as I like all of you.

Well, we have another thread that started out one way and moved into "V6 vs V8"
I'll take my hat off to High888 he came back in a very calm and civil tone, I've got no problem at all with what he replied back with.
but it's the constant movement of the threads from the original post to "if you have less engine than me, then you don't have a "Real" Charger" that starts the in fighting... For every post I've seen that has a 5.7L owner bashing by a 3.5L owner for wanting more out of their car, there are 100 posts where the same 5.7L owner asking how they can make more HP.
The V-6 drivers don't follow them around chanting "You should have bought a SRT"
Lets all just move on and live with the fact that there many reasons why we drive what we drive, and the reason there are options on our cars is to give us all a choice.

Being a former, as well as current, V6 owner, I was only making fun of the potential gains which can be made (so far) to the V6. Which aren't much.
I was only being sarcastic about the nuclear reactor only making 10hp.
I spent almost $1,000 on an extra PCM with the B&G flash, and what did I get? According to my Butt-o-meter, I think (hope) I feel something extra.
I really can't tell if it did anything. But we all like to keep trying (and spending money) to squeeze out extra something from our cars. Real, and
sometimes imaginary. I am not knocking the V6. I like to drive my Magnum as it is smooth and quiet. The SRT suspension is rock hard and you get
knocked around pretty good in comparison. I traded in my V6 SE Charger for
the SRT8, and I was sad to see it go. That car was perfect and no regrets.
As far as this board goes, I'll always be a V6'er and proud of it.:)

What would happen if we put twin turbos on our 5.7 ???
