DVD Nav in SXT? [Archive] - Dodge Charger Forums

I ordered an SXT Charger a few weeks ago and want to replace the radio with a DVD GPS Navigation unit because it is not available as an option. Does anyone know if the Mopar aftermarket GPS unit can be installed in this model?

im pretty sure you can but why not get an aftermarket nav system? it would be cheaper and probably have more features.

I don't know why they would not have the Navigation unit as an option for all models, but you should not have a problem upgrading to the REC radio.. You should be able to find one for less than $1,000 on ebay.. You will need a new trim piece around the radio and possibly a new pocket that holds the radio.. It was needed on the durango, don't know if the charger needs one or not.. Just make sure you get a unit that comes with an antenna and the latest navigation software!!
