I am thinking of getting a Charger and adding some black 20" wheels with a chrome lip on them. I am not sure if I am gonna go black, white or silver.
Does anyone have pics of a Charger(s) with black wheels?

go to the photo gallery, theres a nice silver steel with the black rims and the chrome rings.
i wanted to keep the stock wheel size but wanted black wheels so I had them powder coated. I love look. I had the powder coat color matched so it looks great.

Zach, my neighbor has a chevy avalanche with black wheels and I'm not too impressed by the looks. But obviously that is just my opinion too. Check out kctrends.com. They have a couple rides wtih black wheels. Also don't let someone else talk you out of getting what you like for your car.

I am in the process of having it painted to match the rest of the car. i should have it back tomorrow.

The black wheels on an LX seem to make it look less expensive for some reason. I am sure it is just me but the car is a little too large for the super stealth all blacked out look.

I have 22" Zinik Mazzotti's black wheels, polished lip, tint, SRT8 grille, front Fascia, removed emblems in rear, and soon to be tinted tails. I will post pics as soon as I have them sent to my email. They will be bad pics since they are from my camera phone but I will get more with a digi camera.
P.S.- I will be sending a new set of tails out for color match tint (color of car) but then will send out the ones on my car to get tinted. I will be listing them on ebay unless somebody claims them first.
I am anxiously awaiting the pics ...
Was not done yesterday. I am told it will be done today. Who knows. I am currently running without a grille. it woud be nice to get it back.

Hey heres a pic of my 300C with black wheels. I am going to order a set of black 22's for my black charger. I remember when I first said I was going to put a set of black 22's on a silver car, everyone was like dont do it its not going to look right. Now everyone loves it. I now see black wheels on blue cars, red one, everything now.

hey lex those are the same rims i got on my black Charger R/T. Only i have 20's instead of 22's. and only the back wheels have the deep lip while the front ones have the normal lip. I'm totally blacking mine out as well, already tinted the front and back door windows and the rear windshield and i'll be blacking out the front and rear taillights this week
I'll post pics once i figure out how to do it heh

Yeah i'm in Chicago and its about to do the snow thing, so i'm going to wait until maybe march to put the new wheels on. Hey make sure you get those pics so I can check it out. Are you tainting the tails yourself with the rockblockers or are you sending them out. If you get a good deal whereever you go make sure you pm me so I can also get the hok up. I also started to go with those same wheels again with my charger, but I thing I now want a set of more racing style looking wheels.

Hey bro go to photo gallery and find my pics. I have 22" Gianelle V-5's.
staggered 22 x 10.5 in rear and 22 x 9's up front. Let me tell ya black car
with black rims is just tough as it gets. My lip is diamand machined which
gives it a satin look not chrome which is really muscle car looking.
The rear looks like a Viper almost because the rims and tires are so wide
it just screams muscle car. Tires are 265/35/22 for the front and 285/30/22
for the rear. They are Kuhmo tires and are really great tires.
good luck

Hey yarbie that black on black is hot. I may buy mine now and say to hell with the snow. I had 22's on my 300C while it was snow and go stuck a few times, but as I look at the black on black charger I may buy sooner. Also thanks to whoever photoshoped the ashansti wheels on the black charger, those were the wheels that I was looking at. I though that a skinner spoke wheel would look best on the car, it does just not black. I think that if you are gonna get a black wheel on thois car, you need something with a more full face.
I'll be putting black police issue wheels on with my winters. I have been looking for a black/chrome wheel for my Daytona but somthing more flat black as to match up with the decals, grill ,ETC.

i agree about the 22's, but for me i dont need a hot wheels look. not saying 22's do that but 20's are fine for what i want.
also, i made a post that nobody answered me on. when you get 20's or 22's is your speedo off. have any of you had them recalibrated? The dealer told me they cant change them on the chargers.
sorry for thread jacking, i just want to know from people who have actually done mods instead of the dealer who has a shop manual and lack of common sense.
also, pics will be up tonight. i swear

You have to take into consideration the outside diameter of the stock wheel and tire combo and try to match it to keep speedo accurate

i guess i can only hope the wheel place took that into consideration for me. probably not though. this car has been a pain in my A$$ for a few small problems and hopefully this doesnt turn into another. ive been to the dealer soo many times im gonna take a cot and sleep in their showroom.
even with 22's its possible to keep the speedo accurate? im gonna figure out the diameter on my nitto's and hopefully be able to find the stock one somewhere. i have to go pick up my plates today so maybe the dealer can tell me.

this calculator should answer your question about the speedo. just put in the two tire sizes.

Welcome to the forum. You can not go wrong with the Stone White. These are made by MHT and as you found out they were not cheap. These were one of the first sets for the LX platform and they turned out sweet.

In all honesty, I don't know how much in love I am with the look. I just bought a set of stock Daytona wheels and will probably be switching to them and these will be for sale ... cheap. Part of the problem is that D'Vinci wheels, IMHO, are junk! Not only is the quality sub-standard but the manufacturer basically doesn't care about customer problems and complaints. The owner of the company told me "We don't care about customer problems. You didn't buy it directly from us so we won't stand behind it." Classy, eh? I would never recommend their wheels to anyone ever.
Anyway, here's a few shots:

Ah, my young grasshopper, you have much to learn! You need to do some shopping around and talk with the right people and that number will decrease quickly. At least thats how it worked for me. Get to know the right people and seemingly expensive wheels suddenly come into reach.... Same goes with anything, but I have noticed that with wheels, the mark-up is INSANE in many cases. Wait it out, shop around, and see what happens, thats the best advice I can give you.
