SoCal Event DETAILS: Oct. 15th

The big day is almost here!!

Just a reminder, this is a family affair, so bring ‘em all.
Since this is going to be a BIG event, I wanted to put together a little something to help you plan and to build some anticipation...

FIRST THE GOOD STUFF:

-DRAWINGS: fatchance and I have put together some great items that we will be giving away to lucky winners. Drawing to be held at 2PM, immediately following the Group Photo... Must be present to win!

-GOODY BAGS: fatchance has put together Goody Bags for each participating vehicle... If you have not been added to the list, now is the time to PM me, or fatchance, so we have enough Goody Bags for everyone!

-VENDORS: We have arranged for Vendors to be present to answer questions about their products and many have donated items for the Goody Bags and drawings... Thanks to all of them for making these possible! Some of the Vendors will be offering short-term special pricing just for participants so be sure to look them up and let them know what you're interested in...

-SPECIALTY VEHICLES: Besides some of the regulars that bring their spectacularly customized cars, we have arranged for a few surprises as well... and we hear we may even have a long-awaited “debut” and perhaps a surprise guest!

-GROUP PHOTO: fatchance arranged for roof access for several photographers who will be taking a group shot at 1:30PM, just prior to the drawing (finally, now you guys won’t have to hear me whine about this anymore)

-HOUSE OF BREWS: Great food and drink! Please be extra friendly and say thanks to these good folks for being so accommodating!

-Pack: CAMERA, chairs, sunscreen, tape or post-its for your windshield placard, and notebook/pencil for mod details you may wish to record, stuff for the kids to play with in case they get bored (no skateboards or bicycles please), and maybe tissues, so you don’t drool on all the beautiful cars you will be seeing

-Parking: It will be easiest if you come in through the side parking lot... we will be gathering behind House of Brews - once you get back there, we will have Member volunteers (Thanks Guys!!) guiding you to the correct parking area for your vehicle type.

As soon as you have parked please:
...Place your windshield placard on the passenger side, front windshield
...Proceed directly to the check-in table for: Goody Bag, Drawing Ticket and Name Tag

-Now What??: Have fun!!

OH YEAH, AND THE COURTESY STUFF:

-Please make sure the little people know not to touch the cars
-Please properly dispose of any garbage
-Please be considerate of the neighbors:
...NO speeding or burnouts as you enter or leave the area
...NO sound-offs... if you demo your stereo, please make it brief and a reasonable volume

This was just posted on the lxforum. I'm looking into the details.

"Don't forget the LIVE demonstration install of the Volant CAI for the 5.7L Hemi Magnums at 1:00pm by Inca Motorsports. He will arrive at 12:30 to start setting up, and the demo install will be done at 1:00pm for anyone who wants to watch and learn how it's done. He will also be bringing some kits in case anyone likes what they see and want's to take the dive.

See you all there, I know we'll all have a great time!

Oh ya, 9 days to go. I know themembers are rushing to get the Mods done. Not to say that I won't have a few new tricks myself.

If your are planning on attendding just make a post or send me a PM. This will really help us out.

Here's what I know. We have some great prizes to give away, The House of Brews is offering a special menu for us, including their regular menu. We will have GS Motorsports with us. So if you have a supercharged LX PM me, I'd like to park those members together. We will have Zoomers and other vendors to answer questions. I know that Victor from VIP will be offering a 15% discount on any VIP products that day. JonW will be there with his AUX unit with full control of the iPOD. Just a lot of great things happening.

Awsome, can't wait to see the car and meet you. Thanks for replying it really helps me out. As far as anything you need we covered pretty much all of it. The form is really for everyones benefit. With that many cars there, you don't have to repeat yourself on what mods you have, plus you can walk around and get ideas.

We will have a drawing at 2:00, which we will give out about 12 prizes. I just got off the phone with Volant and they will be doing a CIA install for the members. This will be a great time and an opportunity to see every mod available for the LX. It doesn't matter if your car is stock or not, it's all about having a good time.

We are at almost a 100 cars with a week to go, this will be great. I have free prizes and vendor discounts for the members who attend. We will give away product and have gift certificates fro members. Volant will be doing an install demo and offering 10% off their product. VIP will be offering 15% off any purchase made that day. We will have several cars hat will be at SEMA in Novemeber there. This is going to be a great time. If your interested just make a post or PM me.

Photos: After a pow-wow between several of the forums and members, we have decided that all photos and video of theis event would be best showcased in a single thread on each board, rather than having 100 people post pics here and there and we hope you will help us to achieve this goal!

I will begin a thread tonight on each board titled "Pics: Oct SoCal Meet"
- at lxforums & 3ootalk the thread will be placed in the Meets 'n Greets Forum
- at 300cforums & chargerforums it will be posted in the Regional Forums/ South Western & California sections

Video: For those taking video, would you be so kind as to turn over your tapes to sweeper6 before leaving the event? He is coordinating a video project for posting and will make certain they are returned to you... Thanks in advance!
