After reading all the posts for the Brylcreem Mod, I decided to go ahead and do it. I Just got it done yesterday...and Yes I Love the way the HEMI sounds.. This is the way they should have made the car from the factory.
The question I have is this:
Before doing the mod, I could turn left at an intersection, punch it and the car would lite the tires and slide sideways (ESP OFF). After the mod I can only get a slight chirp out of the tires. The car does not really feel any slower though. I know the reason for the X-Pipe is to create more low end torque. I wonder if the suitcase also contributes to the low end torque? OR could this be caused by HAL needing to re-learn the different back pressure? Now this is really not that big of deal to me as I can not really afford to be replacing tires more than I should have to:-). Overall I think it is still worth it for the sound.
