some of you guys are still wondering on the set-up of this thing and how it works, most already know. i saw some were a bit skeptical of the thing being remotely. now theres other companies that make remotely mounted turbo's, but none for our chargers or other LX's cts (aka mr mopar i think) will be making this system for our chargers.. I personally can't wait to find out the price after SEMA(the company STS makes remote systems for around $4,100 im hoping they're around that price maybe lower :D)...Now im pretty ure CTS is using a much better turbo, on the lx forums i've seen a post about the turbo being rated 600hp(now of course that doesn't mean you can boost it up that high, thats just the potential of the actualy turbo.) and i also think there air induction system is different (also a plus). i really can't wait for this to be released and for those who have no idea what a remote turbo system is like watch these two videos in order it explains alot
NOTE: That this install is being done with 2 guys with a lift and proper tools;
The vette is a much lower car and means the pipings must be put in
spots with clearence the LX kits looks like ALOT less piping and the
intake does not stretch that far away on the CTS kit(80% sure);
Hope you guys enjoy, just trying to share some info and if u haven't

I think there is a company named STS Turbo systems or is that the same company?

No, STS is a different company. Their turbos are similar in that they are remote mounted, just as CTS is. But as of now they don't have a kit for the Charger, and I don't want to go thru the hassle of having plumbing fabbed up. They are somewhat less expensive, though.

if the turbo is as reliable, add miles per gallon, easy to install, cost effective, why would you want anything else?!!
1st turbo.

Turbos tend to be harder to tune than S/C. Varibles affect the turbo more as far as weather and fuel(octane) at least when you talk about big boost numbers. Turbos have a lot of parts, wastegate, BOV, lots of piping, downpipe,Turbo, and intercooler. S/C, most of the time, once it's done, it's done and is pretty much a bolt on deal. Although,turbos tend to make bigger power at the same psi as a blower since they don't rob any power to spin them. I am sure someone way smarter than me will explain further.

They made it look like a breeze to install!
How many hours does it usually take a person that's doing it for the first time/ professional mechanic?

Cool info, really makes the istallation look pretty simple! thought it was interesting how it looses 1 PSI from the air traveling all that way from the turbos but gains from the air cooling effect of the pipes!
