It sounds good for what it is, I'm going to leave the stereo alone. It's loud and clear :)

I can't belive how well it sounds. The last time I had a car sound like this was in 1988 and it cost me $3000 without a radio!

I'm perfectly content with the 322 watt system. The bass hits hard enough my mirrors look like they are gonna fall off!!!

and to add to this....my left foot (when planted on that foot pad) can feel the bass hitting hard on songs from linkin park.

I have 2 CD's from the "Maximum BOOM for your System" set (1998), its mostly techno. These CD's will test even the most advanced systems. Just sitting still, you can feel the bass in your chest. There are some tracks that have too much bass (still no distortion) it actually sounds kinda flat. But if the volume and bass/mids/trebble settings are set just right, I have been heard about 3 blocks away!!!! (by the way, my favorite track is on disk 2 of 3, track 18- Go Speed Racer. It uses words and music from the old arcade game, but its been amplified and hits real hard.)

no one mentioned the mp3 player...mp3s sound great. I'd recorded most of mine at 160 and the bass is clear the the highs without that tinny sound. Very nice, well worth the extra bones

Well, thankyou all for all your input on this stereo option. I just wanted to hear some feedback on how well it sounded. You all just clarrified it for me. I know I'll be happy with mine then. Thanks. It sounds like this system is pretty darn good from the factory.

Great sounding system for a stock hi-watt stereo. Now if I could only get my iPod directly hooked up. Thats the only thing that SU<KS. You would think they would give you an AUX in. But nooooooo. Have to play the iPod through the FM modulator. Loose alot when doing it that way.

I have had systems in every vehicle I have owned. Last truck was all alphine, kicker and PPI. But I really have no reason to do much to this. Its clear loud and has the best bass I have seen in a stock system.
