I think it really looks good, and gives the front end a very clean look.

Thanks man. I know I'm biased but I think mine is one of the best looking R/Ts I've seen around and we all know that blue is one of the 10 fastest colors :D

I do like the painted chin, kinda makes it look like less of an add on.
When you had it painted did they sand it dowm smooth, or did they leace the texture?

They sanded it down smooth. I had the dealership do this for me when I bought the car, so I don't know what the true cost was.

They won't fit the SRT since they use a different front bumper with a chin type lip on the front already. If I had the money I would have rather gotten the srt front bumper :D

I will be curious to see how the paint holds up a year down the road.

Dr. Ghetto Fab in da house! :D
Just don't scrape it on anything and it should be ok....sh!t...too late for me
In all actuality it ought to hold up quite nicely seing as how it's made of a similar material as the front bumper and it was painted with the same paint.

Well actually if it was painted with flexable primer you might be ok. But if you already scraped it then it might be too late anyway.

It's too late for me...I took a pretty good chunck out of the spoiler with our 8" tall curbs here at work. I'm looking to get another one done or get the mopower chin spoiler and getting that painted by the same people that did my current one
Thanks broc. you sold me on getting it painted. That looks greet.

I know this thread is a little old, but i had a question. What is the difference between the chin spoiler from MPSC and the Mopower chin spoiler. Besides the price!

The MoPower spoiler is a little larger and wraps completely around the front bumper, while the one that MPSC is simply the one for the daytonas which is a bit smaller and sort of ends in a seemingly random location on the front bumper.

Thanks broc! I think i like the one from MPSC. Was it pretty easy to install? I think I saw that yours was painted, has the paint held up pretty good?

I actually had the spoiler installed at the dealership before I took delivery of the car. The paint's actually held up very well, seeing as how they prepared and painted it the same way that they do our flexible bumpers. The only thing I've done is ran into a curb really hard (very tall curbs at work) and scraped a good portion of the paint off the front driver side. I'm thinking about getting the MoPower chin spoiler painted and installed and I'll just make sure I'm carefull around the curbs :D

yup all you do is use special plastic soap by 3M (forgot what its called)
sand it down , primer it , paint it, and yeah
finish sand and buff for best results ha
