Just installed Superchips

Just installed it this evening with the 91 tune sports setting and took it for a test drive. Every seems great but i didnt get a chance to "really" get on it. I got home put it in park and turned my AC on and the RPM's started fluctuating alot, turned the car off and back on then it seemed ok.....any one else experience this?

yeah, ive noticed an increase of surges, i heard that the superchips does that, I think I remember Dana saying he experienced the same thing....

SC definitely causes surges w/ AC on. They need to up the idle RPM in my opinion but haven't offered this yet. In mid '07, custom tuning software is going to be available that I think will give you lots of additional control on items like these. Unfortunately that's pretty far off and the cost is rather high too...

My brother has the SC and had the surge problem. He downloaded an update from SC web site and the surge went away..
