I installed the MOPAR Cold Air Intake the other night, and at hi RPMs it's sounds great. I have noticed tho a very subtle whistling (like air being sucked in) at low RPMs. It's only when you first get on the gas for a few seconds but it's definitely there. Any thoughts? Is that normal?

Mine does the exact same thing. I thought it was strange also. But I then got into my friends moded Jeep...and his intake does the exact same thing. Im thinking its competely normal.

I have the Mopar and until you mentioned it I never noticed. I think it is caused by the slower air velocity at the lower RPMs causing a low frequency sound that is more noticeable than the high velocity / higher frequency at higher RPM.

I agree, it's normal. I just installed mine. When I left the hood up and rev'd her up, you could really hear it.
