This has been going on for over three months.
I first inquired about purchasing a replacement Trunk Lid Decal. I asked for a picture, a month goes by. I ask again, and he says that he will get me a picture the next day. 2 weeks go by and I ask again for a picture before purchasing his decal. He private messages me and says that he will send me a full decal for free if I agree to send him high-resolution pictures of the decal after it is installed. I happily agree.
For two months, every other day he has been saying via PM "Your decal will be out in the mail tomorrow morning." This is simply pathetic. I never asked for the decal for free, I simply wanted a simple picture. I do not appreciate getting played like I am. If he doesn't have one made, cannot make one, or cannot send one for free after all, he should have just told me and I would have happily paid for the decal. For the way I have been treated by their Customer Service, I would recommend this company to no one.
Autoguy: You and your company (RiderGraphix) is making a replacement Trunk Lid Decal, correct? Could you please PM me pricing along with shipping to 92595? Do you happen to have a picture? I only want to see if it is closely matched to OEM. Thank you.

I bought and applied one of their "Style A" rear deck decals on my R/T. I also re-applied the badges (since I actually prefer the badges on the rear of the Charger). I don't think you could tell the difference between the OEM decal and the RiderGraphix version.
They also have different versions with the badges cut out of the decal if you desire a "clean" back end... :errf: (errr... that sounded kinda funny). The RiderGraphix web site has a few pictures of the cut out versions if you care to view those. I'll try to get a picture posted after work today (I work at night) of mine. It's pretty darn close to stock.
As far as RiderGraphix's quality... it's as good as it gets (with great customer service to boot).

I can only speak about my experiences REVmotors. At the time Autoguy was not a vendor here. But My dealings was awsome with Revmotors. I got I wanted(Custom work) quickly and at a great price. The communication was was great considering it was thru pm's I never waited more then a couple hours for a response.
Dont think Im jumping up to defend the vendor. I had positive experience. Thats is all.
A14 why are you not surprised?

Ditto on that.
I had a similar experience just trying to get color samples - which led me to not placing an order at all.

Randy,
If you follow the link my brother posted above, it will take you to the Rear Blackout page of our website. It is an exact replica of the factory decal, with the keyhole already cutout, we have a style "A" here already cut in flat black. If you want a special design like any of the others shown, we can cut it and it WILL be in the mail tomorrow morning, possible even dropped at the post office tonight!!
Thanks,
Brian Rider

Here are the pics of my install. Again, nothing but good things to say about the RiderGraphix guys. I've included some of the other decals they did for me as well.
Hope this helps...

Actually I had a very bad experiance with Rev moto also. I asked for some personal work also. He said he could do it, and asked me to create what i want it to look like. I TOOK TIME to create it, and he never got back to me, but said he could do it.
BUT. auto guy, from Ridergraphix, I sent something that I might want done also but its only been a week and half since I have heard back from them. He has a very good personality and customer skillz. But I am still waiting. patiently.

Justin, I did not forget about you. The Guy I need to get the info from is on Vacation this week, so I will not see him until next week. You will be the first to get the design we spoke about. I have not posted or shown the design yet.

Guys, this is HORRIBLE!
I got my decals from then and was satisfied - quick delivery and product is good
My opinion is that if a vendor isnt responsive, move on. Dont ask again. You should not ever have to beg for them to have your business. I would recommend you just forget it.

Great question.....
I would move on to another vendor (as Curz suggests) while pursuing my refund...
I would also recommend the assistance of the Moderators and/or Admin if this company was a Supporting Vendor on this very forum....
I did this at my other forum for one of my members and it worked wonders. :D
I hope that it will never come to this, but legal action is also an option....
Good luck.

I hate to see things like this. I hope all works out, But if I was you I would do what 1Bad4dr stated. All of what he said are very good options.
Doesnt matter how much it was or how much its worth, ITS YOUR MONEY. Money is hard earned these days.
Its the whole fact of trust, not only do we have and need to trust each other on this forum but we also need trust with vendors.

I don't think anyone reported an issue where they ordered something and didn't get it. That's why I'm not too upset about it. It's just that he throws out these statements of giving things and sending things, but it seems he doesn't deliver. The title of this thread says it best . It's not "Got ripped off by....". I don't think anyone has been ripped off by him. He's not a thief. He just plays games with offers of free things as rewards for doing him favors.

Nothing. He was going to give it to me in exchange for some photoshop work. Most of it I did for forum members and just gave him permission to use it on his site. I really have no loss other than having my feelings hurt.
I'll get over it.

You are right, I did completly forget about your order. Since I was not charging you for the decal.....It was FREE the payment never made it into our shipping system and I forgot to send it.

I would be happy to give it to you now. Please call our customer service number at 269-861-2390 so we can talk about this and fix this.

I've had a good experience with rev so far. The rocker panel stripes they sent me were great and I even placed a completely custom order that did take some time to create but my requirements were very specific...as far as I know they are done and in the mail, I'm very excited to see them and get pics up.
BTW - robert...did you get my latest pm sent to you a few days ago?

I've gotta say I am not terribly impressed by the fact that they are making Daytona Quarter panel stripes. Most, if not all, vendors felt that was a moral obligation to not recreate Daytona graphics for the sake of keeping the Daytona in its own class. Especially when people are now talking about dressing up TorRed SE/SXTs as wannabe Daytonas... And no, I am not some hostile Daytona owner, I just think right is right.

Revolution Motorsports isn't the only vendor making those quarter panel stripes.
I've bought from both Rev. Motorsports and Rider Graphix and I got the same great service from each. I didn't ask Rev about custom graphics, but Rider was great about photoshopping up some ideas I had, although in the end I didn't go with any of the ideas.

I agree but its a win/loss. You can get a replacement for much less if you own a Daytona with a damaged decal. Or some wanna be can make his Charger look like a Daytona.
As long as the 1/4 panel stripe does not say Daytona in it its no big deal on a non Daytona.
