I have been reading on here about HID lights and have gotten multiple answers..

My question is, what kind of HID kit do chargers take? I know the lights are 9006XS or sx or something, but is that the same as a 9006 kit, would a 9006 kit work? Are the headlights themselves curved like those of the 9006's at the store or are they straight?

I just do not want to buy an HID kit and have it not work.

Also, will plug and play work or do I need resisitors or capacitors or something to wire in to the HID kit for it to work? I feel like I have gotten mixed answers about this as well.

I guess does the charger have any sort of electrical issue with the H.I.D.s i have read about them flickering, what causes this in the charger?

Thanks everyone!

Apparently you have read real well, don't put an HID kit in your stock housings.

Do me a favor, take a few night shots of your HID's, on the ground in front of the car, on a flat wall about 10-15 feet away and post them, then I will point out where the problems are... :) You probably don't think that you are blinding people but you are.

You do not have a true HID system. Light is not projected, in fact it is not anymore projected then the stock lights. Light is scatter all over the place.
You are not in front of the car at night so you can not see how bright and blinding that it actucal is. I made the same mistake on my R/T.

Oh, one more thing, I hope you do not have any electrical issues. DCX will void your warranty in a heartbeat due to the aftermarket wiring used by the HID lights.

This is not a functional mod, it is for appearance only.
