I've installed a Flowmaster 40 Series Catback. Problem- it hangs too low and rests on the center stabilizer bar. I've tried to tighten the connections to keep it up but it keeps coming to rest on the bar. Any ideas?

Loosen all the clamps and put a piece of wood or something inbetween the bar and exhaust to hold it up...then tighten all the bolts and remove the wood...should stay in place..

Thanks going to the garage to give it a whirl! I tried the same thing only I was further back and using a bottle jack.

Hope it works for ya...I have been involved with 3 Magnaflow installs and this worked for them..

Seems to have worked. I tried your suggestion plus let her run for a few minutes to warm the exhaust. Then repeated.

Does that system still drone with the supplied resonators that come in the kit?

I'm also wondering about that. It's a nice looking set.

I'm also wondering about the Flowmaster cat-back.....does it drone? It's a sweet price for a cat-back. do you like the sound. is it clean/crisp sound with the supplied resonators?

I'd like to hear this set up to and compare it to JBA.
