We have been talking to Mopar Performance regarding these cylinder heads in doing a volume purchase to help lower the cost to the consumer. They finally brought to the table a proposal that will save you some money. They stated that if we can get a volume purchase together on a total of 20 cylinder heads, that is 10 people, we could sell them for $2500.00 per pair. This price cannot be attained without 10 people, as normal dealer cost is significantly more than this. So if this is something you would like to do, then please let us know.

I'm interested if this is something that will happen very soon.

jazzy69,
We have not received any interest in these heads at this price, mainly due to aftermarket heads costing much less due to the exchange they offer. I really don't think this will happen anytime soon, although we do have this posted across many forums. I gave up waiting, and already have my Mopar CNC heads sitting here at the shop. Now I just need to round up my camshaft, then I am off to do the install.

That's too bad. I will wait to hear your results and any install tips. By the way, how much gain would you expect for the head/cam combination on a Daytona (MOPAR heads, MDS cam, PCM, headers, cat-back)?

jazzy69,
If you follow the 5.7 Upcoming Performance upgrade thread in our section, you will find the results there once testing is done. However, this is WITHOUT an MDS camshaft, as Mopar DOES NOT offer a MDS compatible performance camshaft at all. The Mopar Performance PCM is also MDS incompatible.

So you are doing heads in that test also??

We are not doing the heads, but the guy who owns the car is adding CNC heads to the mix.

What kind of HP gains with the heads? Also, what does it do to gas mileage?

We have not had anyone respond with their results from the CNC heads.
