Lets see if I can make this one work. I need all members names that are intrested in this. I am thinking October 7th, or so. Just how many of you WOULD be intrested in this? The meet would probably take place in some park, and I know just the right one, but food/drinks and such, I would have no clue how to set up. Maybe plan a M&G closer to some restaurant? I wouldn't mind hooking up for a M&G, but I am not available the weekend of the 7th. I'll look for future posts in case the date changes. What about a weekday evening? My weekends are usually packed with faqmily and kids stuff.

Let's shoot for a Columbia event, or somewhere close. That way we can pool the STL guys too! Let me check out the schedule and I'll post dates on this thread and the KC M&G one you just started. I'll also check with the group at the www.gatewaylxclub.com site . . .Fall would be a great time to do it.

Based on Soccer schedules I'm down to October 14th in the afternoon, or any of the Sundays works. A Sunday would probably be best, just because we have no games on Sunday.

I could make KC area October 7th. I'm a little leary to leave town, even though Columbia's only 2 hours away, because my wife's due to give birth to our son November 7th. That would be great Danman. You know you always are welcome at the house. With the kids being old enough to stay alone at the house, we could even bring the ladies. Depending on if K would want to go. That is the big question, not in to this sort of thing you know.

I'm interested in any sort of get together either here in STL or in KC or in some "halfway" point. I have season tickets for Purdue football meaning I *know* I can't do the following weekends: 9/23, 10/21, 10/28, 11/18. I also have 3 kids playing soccer and haven't even looked at their schedules beyond this weekend. But, if I can make it work with whatever date gets decided, I (and Torred#423) will be there!

Greetings! My first post on this forum (don't have a Charger) and thought I would add my 2 cents on the get together and dyno. I belong to HPAC (High Performance Auto Club) here in Kansas City and also happen to be president of the regional Viper Club. Anyway, HPAC meets the third Saturday of each month at Backyard Burgers at 95th & Metcalf. October is their last cruise of the year.

I would be happy to hook up whenever and can even help with arrangements. I can also help set up a Dyno Day pretty easily and cost effectively here in Kansas City. We have been doing one for years with the Viper Club - even dyno'ed the very first 300C SRT-8 in town last year. You can find me easier at the 300C forums (Y2K5SRT) and are welcome to PM me there. If you guys decide you want to do a Dyno Day, it should be no problem to get it for $50 per person or less with 2-3 pulls per person (assumes 14 cars or more). Includes full print outs for each car, etc. Bring in some pizza and it makes for a fun day (ask buck70).

Dyno days are fun, but hard to get pulled together. You end up with a lot of, wanna be's that become No-shows when the day arrives. Good intentions, but either no money or last minute family biz rules the day. Most people skip the most important part too, log the A/F ratio and KNOW that you are running a safe combo.

I really like your idea of choosing a few dates and doing a poll.

I would prefer a friday afternoon (1pm till whenever) or a sunday afternoon (1pm till whenever) Doesn't matter which weekend except for the day of Oct 21st which is my 1 year wedding anniversary, and I would not survive "Honey, is it okay if we go to a M&G on our anniversary?"

Saturdays are difficult for me and another, but possible. Lets pick a day - friday, saturday or sunday, then vote on which weekend. I'm sure fridays will be difficult for most who have regular jobs and some will have problems with sundays that are reserved for family time. I think we can do this though, even if a couple of us show up late or leave early.
