I did not get the Sirius in my R/T, as I looked on the dodge website where you build your car and it automatically put it in on R/T's so I thought they all came with it, I know, My Fault for not paying more attention, and asking the right questions when I ordered mine. Anyway, I can get it installed and with the year service for 395.00 at the dealership where I ordered it, I just can't decide if this is a good enough price, They told me that it is now standard on all chargers after mid '06, which really sucks seeing how I ordered mine at the end of April and got it at the end of May. I know my brother in law has an aftermarket unit that he loves, for 258.00 Including the year service. I can't decide which way to go. I would really like some help with this. Does anyone have the Sirius that could post me a pick so I can see what it looks like on the screen of a standard single Cd radio.

I have it, and I'd rather not.

Yes I have it but I mainly still listen to my own CD's or other things. If you spend any amount of time on the road, more than 1-2 hours a day it might be worth it. If you have the MP3 player I wouldn't bother, as you can burn more music or whatever you want to listen too than justify the cost of Sat.

YUP what he said.
if you don't have the 6 CD MP3 player, take that money and get one off of Ebay. Burn MP3's and listen to what ever you want...UNLESS you want the Sat. Radio for the news, weather, talk shows....stuff like that.

My sentiments exactly. My commute is about four minutes long, and the longest I drive to relatives is about an hour each way. MP3-encoded CDs are more than enough. Especially with the 6-disk!

I have it and love it, my wife has it in her 300c and never listens to it. All depends on what you like.
For me, 80's pop, classic rock, and blue collar comedy.....

We have it in the Charger and I also bought Sirius for my Evo. I'm always tuned in to Area 33, and I hardly ever listen to CDs. It's worth it to me. The first year on the Charger was free, 2nd unit is (I think) $6.99 a month.

I've got Sirrius, and supprisingly enough I really like it  I'm always tuned into sirrius 20 Octane until a song comes on that I don't care about, then I turn on the MP3s :D

I have Sirius and love it! About 1 month after I bought the car I got a second unit for the wifes Tahoe / home. I havent listened to terrestial radio more that a few minutes since. If you are a true music fan I feel that this is one of the best deals running. Everyday I get to choose (onthe fly) what to listen to. no worries about burning CD of the same music i could listen to on the regular CD's. My favorite channel is Sirius Bluse 74. If any of you are blues fans this is the channel for you. Here in the Salt Lake area there is no blues radio and none of the stores carry any of it. This gives my all I vould ask for and more. I am not a country fan but Mojo Nixon is hilarius on Outlaw country.
Well there you go thats my opiion and........well you asked for it.

Hm, yeah, but still, a little early dont you think? I called them and they said that the previous owner has to call "us" and discuss this situation with us, since it is registered in his name. The Sirius Account.

I have it .. except when in my parking garage at my apartment, going under overpasses or near trees. So.. I don't listen to it on a regular basis. Since it was free for a year, I don't care. Unless the service improves, I won't pay for it.
I do admit it was nice on a recent 7 hour trip. But I don't take much of those. I listen to MP3 crammed CD's mostly.. If and when the Ipod interface is available I will use that , too.

I have it and think its great. I a huge comedy fan so blue colar, raw dog and laugh break are what I listen to most but you'd be surprised at all the different types of station that are on there. And if your a howard stern fan surius is the way to go.

Mine came with it. Personally, if I really wanted it and had to spend as much as it's going to cost you, I would just get a unit that you can plug in and remove to take in the house or put in another vehicle. I'm not sure if i'll bother renewing after the free year.

I appreciate all the info, I went and looked at a the stock single cd unit with sirius today and not so much to my surprise, I found out that on my radio does not show any info other than the channel number. So believe me, I will not be paying money for that kind of cheap setup. who wants to carry a list of channels to try to look at when your driving. No Thanks!!! I will wait until I find a deal on aftermarket unit. I can install that myself.

If you're serious about Sirius then try them here: http://shop.sirius.com/edealinv/servlet/ExecMacro?nurl=control/StoreDirectory.vm&ctl_nbr=2640&catLevel=1&catParentID=7870&scId=7870&oldParentID=7870
I ordered a Sportster Replay with the car & home kit (still don't have it) for my wife and cost me $50 since I'm already a subscriber. The reason I went with that one was because it pops in/out of the cradle for real PnP unlike the Starmate Replay where you have to pull wires to swap between home and car.
You may find better deals elsewhere but think they would involve rebates if you're into that. Just make sure you do your research on the service, model and installation before taking the plunge. Both companies offer free 3-day passes to listen via the web. The web stream quality really sucks and I don't bother using it but you can get a taste of the content and see if spending $13 a month is worth it for you.

I have it in mine, only because it came with it. On average, I spend about (4) hours in my car for work purposes, but still wouldn't have purchased it if I didn't have it. The 6 CD / MP3 player is more than enough for me. Also, I'm not too happy with the sound quality of sat radio. It's not as good as normal radio. Whenever my subscription expires, the only station I'll would probably miss, would be Maxim Radio #108... As for the display, well it's OK, but you can really only see the current station / channel it's on. Compared to external units where you can see several stations at once, I would prefer the external display. A buddy of mine added Sirius later and mounted his display in the storage area underneath the radio area. Looks pretty good... PM me and I'll send you a picture of it.
