I stole this from another board, but like last year, its a gathering of all cars. Im hoping to have rims and lowered by then, but we will have to see. It was a great time last year. Heres the post.....

Last year went over great, so why not do it again this year? Softball, horseshoes, blah, blah. Clean the ride, and prepare to show it. Sept 16th shall be the date, so clear your schedule. This is a non shop affiliated meet, but members/owners of all shops are welcome. Just like last year, attitudes are to be left in your car, and anyone stirring **** will be escorted away. I would prefer that we have prearranged food this time. I am suggesting a $7 fee per person to cover food/drink (bring your own beer though, if you want it) Money would be sent via paypal to turbo95@earthlink.net (Josh/BFE)

Please feel free to advertise this on as many boards as possible.

Edit, this is at Dusable park, kinda St Charles area off 70 if I remember correctly. Ill keep you posted as soon as I get a good map, Ill post it, along with all final details.

total last year I would say at least 50 cars, I think this one is being alot more advertised. LX cars, not really sure, I put this on the local LX board as well.

It will probably consist of Fbodys, mustangs, Supras, corvettes, some hondas and all that jazz.

I don't know anything about this particular car event, however I did some research on where Dusable Park is, since I live in St. Charles County.

Duable Park is located along the Missouri River front area in the Old St. Charles area...

Hope this helps!

Supposedly, they called to double check on the reserved section, and it was given to somebody else, so when I talked to him today, he was trying to get it reorganized at a different park, in same general St Charles//St Peters area. Sorry for any problems.

very easy. From 270, go west on 370 about 3 miles, to the 1st exit after the river (3rd Street) Exit will loop around, go right (south) on 3rd street to the stopSIGN (after the stop light) where 3rd street forks. Turn left at the stopsign onto Tecumseh. As soon as you turn left, you will see a little blue sign saying Dusable ahead. Tecumseh dead ends a few hundred feet down at a big sign that says "Point Dusable Park, Regot Area" turn left and follow North Main back underneath 370 (pass up the little driveways along the way) On the other side of 370, you will see another big sign that says "Point Dusable" and the road veers to the left and starts a long right hand curve. In the curve you will see a ball diamond right next to the road, just after that the curve heads the other way, Pavilion 4 is right there, you can't miss it. If you do, you'll know it because you won't be in the park anymore.

After I called this morning, I found that Pavilion #4 is first come first serve. We ARE there, I will be squatting it Saturday morning. Come as early as you like. We will be cooking and eating 3-4ish.

we have someone bringing yard darts, and another set of washers or two would be cool also.
