Does anyone else do the looking-over-your-shoulder/walking/backwards thing when parking your Charger? At work, I park my car way WAY out in the lot, in a spot where no one can park next to me, and it takes me a good 2-3 minutes to walk into work. The whole time, I keep looking over my shoulder, walking sideways/backwards, to catch a glimpse of it. I probably look like a dork, but it's 5am and nobody is around. My parking space is ideal, too, because during my shift I can catch glimpses of it as I walk by the front window.

I'm in love.

I park so I can see it out the window from my cubicle. All I have to do is move about 6" to my left and I can look straight out the window at 'er.

Everytime. And then I look around to see who else is checking it out. My wife swears I love my Charger more than her and the baby!!

I think the real question here is does anyone NOT do it? :)

Sure, but I don't go for the whole "looking in window at self driving car" thing - unless I'm stopped or say, at a drive through (that was cool!) when i'm stopped anyway lol.

I loove looking back at the car. Last time I did that though, I got honked at with this little acura riding my ass (quite literally) because I was walking too slow and in his way XD.

I do it about as often as I........well.......OK now and then. You get to work at 5:00AM? Yikes, I did that for years and it is no fun. I had to hit the sack way too early.

Everyday!
Some people take 5-10 minute smoke breaks... I take a Charger break. I park my car right by the front glass door in the mornings and for a break during the day I walk to the front of the buliding and just stare at my car.

I am glad that its not just me :).... I feel as if I am in an AA meeting. We should start a CA (Chargeraholics Anonymous) meeting.

I do it at home too - every morning first thing is to go peek out at my car.

do you watch the water bead up on the Zaino too? (I do)

Guilty as charged. I love my Charger. I also walk out to it on smoke breaks just to see it. Its always the sweetest car in the lot too.

Everyday, everywhere.

It's the walk back to the car that I really love. I get to stare at the for the whole long walk (and it's always a long walk!)

Guilty as charged. I catch slack from my neighbors for having the cleanest car around. If anyone ever needs me they just wait by my car. I'll see them shortly or already be there primping it. :smoke:

Yes. Me and my wife always park as far form everyone else as possible.
A long walk back to the car is better than a door ding any day.

Lets see. I keep all my cleaning stuff in the trunk (ina bucket in the cargo net) I wipe down all the dew and road debre everymorning before I leave for work. I back into every parking spot and take up two spots (my wife hates that) I then look over the car before entering and if I see a spot I open the trunk and wipe it off. I wash it 2-3 times a week usually and wax it atleast 3-4 times a month (sometimes 2-3 times a day if I'm off and board) I even clean the inside of the wheels and wax the door jams! Oh god I think I see it....I'm INSANE!.....Hey that would make a good license plate, people surely wouldnt park next to me then!!

I'm in love.

I do the same thing! I also drive into town for lunch and never actually eat anything, just so I can go for a ride! One thing that bothers me is that I alsways leave at least a 10 space buffer anywhere I park, and when I get back there are always cars snuggled up against it. I think people are drawn to it, like a big sexy magnet or something!:smoke:

I'm in love.

after I park I usually take a few steps away from my car then turn around and jump back in it for another couple minutes. I rub my fingers up and down her sleek sultry curves, wispering sweet nothings to her. when I finally feel it's time to leave her I still hang around outside, circling her, following every inch of her outline with my hand. seeing my reflection on her and her reflection in my eyes, I know that we are one, that we're meant to be. finally I give her a kiss on her hood emblem and give her a slap on her trunklid and go on my way, walking backwards the intire time until I run into what ever I'm trying to get to. once inside I give one last glance over my shoulder, smile, and wipe a small tear from my eye.......

so yeah...what you do is completely normal :D

I do it all the time. At work I park in the same spot which is far away from everyone else. I constantly look back when I walk away from it and I do the same thing at home.
When I can, I look at the reflection of the car from nearby glass windows. My wife thinks i'm nuts. I go "hey honey look, thats us..."

I am positive that a "real life" charger obsessve group has already been formed, somebody has to know or have some kinda connections?
