I have been getting a nice rattle from my drivers side door around the speaker area. I have the base at +2 and the min at -2. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you fix it?
Thanks,
Bill

I also had the same issue, but have replaced the speakers in the doors and dash and did a full Dynamat job plus ensolite and the rattle was gone. I went a slightly different route from most others as I put a high end 4" coax up in the dash plus 8" midbass woofers in the doors.

I had the same issue, the speaker was blown and replaced under warranty.

Good point; if the vehicle is still under warranty, I would have the dealer take care of it.

I don't guess door speakers can be changed without pulling the entire door panel? I was hoping the door panel would pop apart at that seam so it would be a quick change but doesn't look like it.
Stock speakers suck balls. Rather put a cheap pair of duals in as they will sound better with better highs. I know its not kicker or anything like that but it's still better than factory.

See if someone dropped a few coins, ink pens, or a tire pressure gauge into the passenger door compartment pocket.

I'm getting a similar rattle. I noticed that it seems to be the window control panel that actually rattles. I heard it and happened to place my hand over the panels, the issue seemed to have subsided. As stated earlier, some dynamat will prolly take care of this. Do you have sound group II

X2 on this one. Loose change will do it every time

I really think this issue is caused by the pocket on the door being loose. Dynamat in the doors or silicon epoxy where the pocket attaches to the rest of the door would remedy this issue. ;)

in my case it was a blown speaker for sure. the pass. side had a fluid movement to it while the driver side was notchy and squeaked when pushing the cone it.
I replaced with some $19 road gear speakers from walmart and they compliment the stock system well with much better sound.

this problem can either be the door panel itself or the speaker. try putting pressure on the panel in different places when you got the music going, if the rattle stops, then its the panel, i it keeps happening then its most likely the speaker. I would suggest dynamat if its the panel, if its the speaker, some nice aftermarket 3 way 6x9s would sounds awesome, or 4 ways if you can find them. New speakers will make your music sounds 10 times better.
