Have my red R/T for 6 days now. Did this from night one. Called the dealer and need to get it over there (just can't let go). Seems once in a while, when starting the car, it starts real crazy... high rev 2000-2500 and runs like sh%t. Like its missing real bad. Turn it off and back again... fine. Dealer said computer or MDS. Who knows... they say everything and anything till they plug the car in. Otherwise the car is beautiful in and out, paint, fit.

P.S. Did you ever hear this before??? This car is fast!... and getting faster! Engine sings and asks for more. Beautiful car.

Anyone else???

Will keep you's posted. Car goes in next week. Prob will get a Neon for a loaner!!!! Nothing against Neon's.... but.

I had a '03 Ram with the Hemi and it did the same thing every once and a while. It had something to do with the electronic throttle and the computer

Have you tried checking for diagnostic codes?

Hey whats going on? I just purchased a black r/t with the 5.7 fully loaded two days ago. I have about 116 miles on it. Yesterday the same thing happened to me. Right away i turned the car off and restarted, and the problem went away. So when i reached home i tried to duplicate the proplem by shuting the car off and on, and it would'nt do it. So later on it happened again. Since the dealer was closed i went through my manual and found what i think the cause is. On page 136 (Eectronic Throttle Control) seems to be the culprit. So if anyone else is having this problem have your dealer look in to the (ETC). Im taking mines in first thing tomorrow.Hope this info was helpful and if anybody finds any other info please post.
