ok. On june 22nd I ordered a borla 112 exhaust for my charger(the "quieter" system) from autopartswarehouse.com. Cost was just under $800, which was the best price I had found. On the very next day, they withdrew funds from my bank account, giving me the presumption it was on its way. About 5 days later I call them to ask where its at. All I want to know is if it wasn't in stock, when it might ship. So after 15 minutes on hold, I get some knucklehead from a foreign country that sounds like he should be working the quickie mart telling me to wait for 4 to 7 business days. He had no answer at all as to the status of the order(which would become a common theme in later phone calls). So I call again the next day to try and get an answer....same response from a similar foreigner. Now after the 7th business day I call. Finally I speak to someone who SEEMS to know something. He says it was in stock and doesn't know why it didn't ship but that it would be taken care of right away. So I call the next day to get a tracking number. No luck. They say it shipped, but I have to wait for the number to be e-mailed to me. Sounds bogus. Several days roll by, still no tracking number. I call again. Yes, it shipped, says the foreigner. Please be patient, he says. So the next day rolls by, and I call again. Now I am told that it never shipped, and this is where I explode. I was lied to several times, they had no answer as to why it hadn't shipped, would not do anything to help me other then to say it will ship fed ex ground sooner or later. So I tell them to cancel the order. Then they tell me It could take up to 3 weeks for me to get my refund yet they were able to take it from my account in one day. Just for everyones info, a total of 19 days has elapsed since the order of the supposedly "in stock" exhaust. Stay away form this company. They have the worst customer service on the net.

Id say so, we cant be protecting crappy dealers just cause they might be sponsors.. not saying I know another, or that any of our sponsors are crappy dealers, ive never had problems, but if one turned out to be everybody should know, that would force them to resolve the situation(onec we heard both sides) and we could get back to normal operations

You might consider calling your credit card company and asking them to reverse the charge. Based on what you've said, I'm sure they'd do it.

I agree with this. You should definitely do this right away. The cc company is almost always on YOUR side and you will get the charge reversed. (From my experience in retail, I've seen how easily this can be done)

Yep call the CC company. I've unfortunately had to have my CC company reverse charges on an online autoparts dealer before. (rpmoutlet.com)

Yup, I'll triple agree here. Years ago had a very similiar experience buying some computer parts. Finally I called my CC company, and I spent longer on hold than I did talking to someone in having the charge removed. I was surprised how easy it was to dispute the charge.

We should have a sticky here that we can express both good and bad experiences with dealers. It would keep them honest when dealing with forum members and allow others to do some research on a company prior to spending some hard earned green. We had this on an SHO forum I used to belong to for many years, it saved my butt many a time and helped me feel confident every time I made an online purchase for my car. I hope our gracious host will consider this.
