well time to plan a Late Fall Meet and greet for WI. come see the colors. or the snow. living in WI, you never know.........

was talking with a few of the IL. members and we all agree that fond du lac WI is to far north so Madison is a good central location i have been looking at a few parks I think i have found a good one. I may plan a road trip to check some out some time. let me know your input on picking a sat. or sunday. thanks again

Matt

Matt,

How about the park right by the Sheraton, across the street from what used to be called the Dane Co. Colosseum (Reliant Center?) off of John Nolen Drive?

Have you checked the Big 10/NFL football schedule? Are there any conflicts for Illini/Badger/Bears/Packers fans?

I don't know if I can make it yet. It all depends on whether my daughter has cheerleading on Sat or Sun. And I won't find out until late Aug. But if it all works out, count me in.

I should be around that weekend.

Did you decide on a place? One great place that is fun for things like this is Quaker Steak & Lube. It is right off the Beltline on the west side of town. It's a very good atmosphere for this type of thing.

They have a "Cruise-in" on Sundays where people bring their cool cars--it would be fun to dominate with Mopar rather than the Corvettes they usually have!

I think the last Cruise-in is October 1, though this meet-n-greet wouldn't have to be tailored around that.

Just an idea.

They have the best chicken wings too!

I go to their bike night on Wednesdays and they have thousands of bikes. That is a cool event too.

Good to see that you're making it Fred. They are trying to get a convoy going to Madison.
