wipe off sometimes? I decided to put another coat on this evening, number 7 and for some reason I could not wipe all of it off. Its very streaky and blotchy. This also happened one other time when I waxed, but not near as bad. The other times it came off like a breeze. Its quite humid where I am today, could that have something to do with it. I did it in the garage so the surface wasn't hot. I wiped and wiped and still the damn stuff won't come off. I gave up until tomorrow. Another thing, I tried some Z6 on it to try to get the residue off but had no luck either. Has anybody else had this problem or any ideas on how to clear it up. Sorry about another Zaino thread but I need HELP.

i do have this problem from time to time and not just with Zaino. I find that when the car is even warm I get the blotchy look. Its especially noticable on black but it will look better in a couple days.

If you have a garage always wax inside!!!

I'm sure this is obvious but it is crucial!

zaino will streak when there is water in the compound. check you bottle and try again.

High humidity could increase the drying time. Same would be true of any wax.

If your having a hard time removing it then there is something wrong. That's why I love it and Formula 113. Very easy to remove!

I doubt water had anything to do with it.Straight from the bottle to the applicator and on the car. Maybe tomorrow it will wipe off. If not do you think applying more wax will help?

IT was 30 degees celcius today which I think is about 87 F. I wouldn't call that frosty.

The only reason for this is when the Zaino hasn't fully dried or you are trying to remove it in high humidity.

Make sure you are following the instructions properly. You can only apply one coat every 24 hours, or 3 coats every 24 hours if you use ZFX. Also, it helps to use Z6 before and after each coat. Make sure you are using the towels prepared just like he tells you.

I will have to lean toward humidity as well. Zaino says on their site that when it's humid it can significantly increase the drying time. Also on the site is says that if Zaino is hard to wipe off or smears then it's most likely not dry. Try carefully rubbing your finger on a waxed part of the car, if it smears then it's not dry.

I didn't do multiple coats. I'm thinking it was the high humidity.Just got home from work, I will give it another go.

Definitely came off easier today, although I had to Z6 the entire car to get the rest of the haze out. I think high humidity is a no no when it comes to zaino or any other wax for that matter. My arms sure got a workout. I think I will try one small section next time and make sure it comes off easy because this happened two out of the seven times I have waxed

I always recommend using Z-6 in between coats. It helps to remove any excess polish you might have left behind unknowingly. It also helps the next coat go on and come off easier.

One other question. Does Z5 come out of the bottle thinner then the Z2, because this time it was almost like water coming out and I don't remember it being that way or maybe I'm not remembering right.
