This product is made from high impact resistant film with an adhesive backing. The Light protection is so transparent you wont even know something is there. It will not alter the appearance of the lens and becomes invisible from just a few feet away. Each piece is pre-cut perfectly by computerized equipment to fit the many different shapes of lenses for foreign/domestic headlights and other lenses. We consider this product a self-installation product in most cases. RockBlocker Light Protection stops damage to your lights. Add color to your vehicle to get style and protection at the same time.

Smoked - yes u lose 17% light
Clear - None
Yellow - Cuts through fog better
Blue - People say it stays the same or improves

Just depends on the color you choose. Hope that helps.

I just ordered headlight tint, and didn't see an option on your site to pick foglight tint for the 99-04 Mustang GT, so I just added a comment to the comment box during checkout. Was that the correct way to do it? I assume adding foglight tint adds to the price also, right?

Mr. or Mrs. Rockblocker,

will I beable to just order the front marker lights? or do I have to order the whole headlight deal :(

<grins> basically i want tail lights, fog, and front side markers...

Crazy question, for the tail light, is their anything that would be more flat looking like the decals on a daytona, im not trying for bling bling, but to keep the look of the daytona ;)

RockBlocker
07-21-2006, 07:53 PM
Yes you can order that separately, but you will need to wait until Monday to call it in. We will take care of.

On the tails, Im sorry all we have is clear coated ones. If you want a duller look dont wax the tail light film.

How does this work? After you purchase your smoked taillights do they send you a whole new taillight or what?

Its a tint that you apply to the existing lights. The fogs can be done blindfolded, its easy.

you need to use a heat gun for the rockblockers?

You dont have to but it helps make it more flexible for the curves. If its warm out you probably can get away without using it.

Oh, and I used a hair drier, that was more than enough heat

Yeah it was 115 here yesterday and 120 in LA. The warmer it is the more felxible and bendable the film becomes.

Another question does the tint on tha head light and tail lights affect your seeing at night? Or should i get better lights?

RockBlocker
07-24-2006, 09:36 AM
Yes it does in smoked color only. That will reduce your light output by 17%. We do recommend using the clear or blue for the front end

ah yes, but then it wont give that dark look

It is a noticable decrease in light but turning on the high beams takes care of that problem and the 17% decrease takes the edge off the high beams enough to not piss off other traffic

fronts are relatively easy...backs are a mother. be patient and read directions. Lots of applying then pulling up partially then reapplying to prevent bubbles. Its also a tight fit so when you start at the trunk, line it up perfect. Dont let it extend past trunk because when you get to the other side you will notice that there is no extra material if that makes sense.

TEST FIT First plus what Curz said. If you have any questions call us.

I just ordered rockblockers for heads, fogs and tails. I was wondering has anyone cut out the reverse light so you can have the 2 stripes of the reverse light showing i have seen the painted ones like that and i thinks it looks cool.

RockBlocker

yes they have done. The material cuts real easy and there are straight lines you can follow after the install. I wouldnt recommend doing it before hand. If you need any other help please call us, much easier to explain
