View Full Version : Thoughts about Rally Stripes?

What is the general feeling about Rally Stripes around here. http://i3.ebayimg.com/05/i/07/9e/22/4f_1_b.JPG

I'm thinking about putting some white stripes similar to these on my Silver Steel Metallic Charger. I dont like the strong contrast of the dark on the light paint, but i was thinking that lighter stripes on light paint would be pretty subtle and look pretty clean and add just enough to set my charger apart from the one next to it.

I was also thinking that putting Bright Silver Stripes on my Silver Steel Metallic might look pretty good. Nothing too attention grabbing, but a nice detail none the less.

Thoughts?

I've never been a fan of stripes. But that's me! Lots of people like them... they think they hot... makes their nipple hard and all...

My wife has a dark Charger with lighter rally stripes
look up the photo gallery of GeekGrl, hey it makes her nipples hard, and I am happy with that.:tongue:

I like the look of the stripes on the grille.. Very nice.

yes she has pink Nipples...and her rally Charger stripes are pink too! :happy:

How much for the gf? Cute? messurements? Picture?

I was in Frisco, TX last week, and I saw a brilliant black R/T with silver rally stripes. It looked hot. They were about 1" to 2" apart with cragar 20's. It l
looked great. I think dark paint with light stripes looks best.

they look good, espically the way Geekgrl did them...going through the grill is a nice touch...on the original pic the stripes on the top of the front bumper look funny...altought white and silver might not be a great combo...silver with bronze stripes perhaps if you don't like how stark the black is?

how about a single thin stripe off centre? like the BMWs in Mr. And Mrs Smith, anybody know how those would look?

Yeah that might be cool. I for sure like the way she did the grill. I'll do some photoshops of different stripe configurations and upload them, then you guys can help me choose the way to go. haha. Maybe i can go in the same style as my maverick and just go all black Hood. haha. j / k.

Don't listen too closely to what everyone here tells you, they're pretty anti-stripes. I've always loved the look of rallys.
