Daytona rear spoiler installation

i had gotten my Ebay special in today. (Daytona spoiler still in Mopar box for $119 shipped).
the question is about how it mounts to the decklid. is there some sort of gasket or rubber that goes between the spoiler pillars to prevent paint rubbage, or do the 2 foam washers do a good enough job?

They should supply you with the form gaskets with the wing.

i think mine might of either been used or fell off a truck. but its in good shape either way, and i wasnt going to pass it up for $119 to my door either.

is the foam gasket the shape of the bottom of the pillar?

No, the foam gasket is just around the bolts. The plastic pillar sits directly on the paint.

i used a little silicone and rubber washers instead.

also didnt the turn signal mod as well.
