I need to know where cylinder 6 is on my 2009 2.7L Charger. I think it is the back one on the driver's side of the motor. Got a 0206 code from the dash/key trick and need to replace a fuel injector by tonight. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Odds are the passenger side and evens are the drivers side. 1 and 4 are towards the front of the car.

Assuming you mean 1 & 2 are toward the front. 1-3-5 passenger, 2-4-6 driver?

Yes, your assumption is correct. Sorry about that.

That's incorrect. The number one cylinder is in the front on the drivers side and the number 6 is in the rear on the passenger side.

V6 is the same as the V8. It's the standard numbering sequence for all Chrysler V engines.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. I have a Haynes manual with a nice diagram at home that I can scan later this evening if you want. I'm at work right now.

I did find this one on the 'net though.

Ddaddy, he has the V6.

You may be correct. Best I could find was this for the 2000 3.5L in the 300M ...

Cylinders:
...(back)
.............6
5
.............4
3
.............2
1
...(front)

It's news to me since all of the V6 engines I ever dealt with always had the number one cylinder as the driver's side front.
