Just thought I would post a link to the pictures of my Charger with the rear spoiler installed since I haven't seen anyone else do this mod yet.

Thats my question too. Is that the SRT8/Daytona/Dodge OEM spoiler? It looks more "bowed" than what I've seen of the Daytona's. Granted they got the right fit (it matches the side-to-side width and angle of the quarter panel), which is not the case for other spoilers I've seen. Although I like the Dayona/SRT8's flatter appearance, this one would be a second choice if I could not get the latter ones.

I ordered it from my dealer so I assume it is the OEM from the Daytonas. Altogether with the chin spoiler, painting of the rear spoiler and installation it was $796. Not a very cheap mod.

I just had my rear spoiler installed last Friday... Our cars look almost exactly alike, Jeff. The only difference (visibly) is that I have the silver "Daytona" rear quarter stripes (they say "Charger R/T")... Very nice and congratulations!!!
Also, Im not sure the exact cost of my spoiler/installation because I asked for one with the purchase of the car to be incl' in the monthly payments.

Cool, I'm glad to see that I am not the only one doing this. I'm sure there are more people out there adding the rear spoiler but aren't on the forums.

I think everyone has been that way. Apparently, they just started shipping or something. There are a couple up on eBay already, now. Guess I need to call my dealer and see where the hell mine is at. :)

I like the red "Daytona R/T" version, looks sweet.I think that's strictly a bad digital camera job. AFAIK, there's only GoMangGo available right now. That pic is from an eBay auction, and it says the car is GoManGo.

Anyone want to guess if it is really a Inferno Red R/T that has been done up like a Daytona?
Anyway. That wing looks completely different from the one I saw on a Charger at the Dealership just this past Friday:

Guess I am gonna have to specifiy the one I want installed before they stick that one on there since I like the Daytona spoiler better.

DCX would probably be a little miffed about that. I'm sticking with the "I suck at cameras" theory.

I think the Mango is just one of those colors that look brighter on a sunny day because of the metallic in it.
The Silver Steel is same way.

That wing has been around for a while. If you compare it to what they put on 'Stangs, you're gonna puke, because they are the same. Don't fall for this one, go OEM or not at all. Get a good look at it from behind and you'll notice that its not quite wide enough for the drooped ends to match the sides of the rear quarters.

Oh my gawd...I just noticed that it was a wing similar to the Mustangs.......I will definitely have to order one of those Daytona wings instead since they look like they belong on the car.

I was thinking about ordering the 1"x2" lip spoiler that has been advertised by a couple of sites ala Nascar. Anyone have an opinion on those versus a full spoiler?

Where have you seen these? I would like to see what they look like on the Charger. I would rather have the lower profile spoiler vice a larger wing-type spoiler.

Just thought I'd post a few pictures of our rear spoiler install. We just got it back from the body shop. They did a nice job, matches our Brilliant Black Pearl Metallic perfect!

Sorry for the quality on some of those. I was running out of daylight. Let me know if you'd like to see a different angle.
By the way, this was the original Mopar OEM spoiler, ordered through our Dodge dealer.

I'm not diggin the spoiler or the funny looking mesh thingy on the rear door in the second pic. Heck I would settle for the one on the Cool Vanilla with Gold Stripes that I took a pic of last week.....even though it looks like it was pinched off a Mustang.

I was hoping for something more along the lines of what you see on some Monte Carlos. I'm not sure if they are OEM or aftermarket.
Anyway, I'm liking the Charger wing more and more. My wife likes it too....BONUS!

No. I was talking about the newer MCs. Although, the old ones weren't too bad either.

I call them up and ask if they can check on the status of my spoiler that I ordered (that I pre-paid for, by the way)...
Hmm, he says, I don't think those are even out yet....
Could you just check on it please?
[time passes] Yeah, those are on back order.
Can you give me a ballpark guess on when it will be in?
[time passes] Hey, it looks like they shipped some of those, but they are on back order again now.
Any clue when I might be able to get one?
Can you hang on a minute while I check something?
Sure, I say, wishing I hadn't left my .357 at home...
[several minutes pass] Hey, we've got one in stock, do you want it?

when I bought my car, I asked for the spoiler to be installed for when I picked her up (not knowing of the back-order situation). They said "Sure, it'll be ready Friday" - it was monday. Needless to say I didnt get mine for 2 weeks after that friday, but I finally have it.. I find the best approach to take with these guys is the "squeaky wheel" approach. I called every day to check the status - and I got "the grease"

If I have to order my R/T with the AWT Package I will probably place the order for the rear and front chin spoilers before then to make sure it is in when the car finally arrives to have the body shop do the work before I pick the car up.
