For those folk who have lived in Denver Metro since the 50's, 60's and 70's you might want to know about the Scotchman's Reunion being held at Bandimere's.

I'm going with a few of my old high school buddy's (we spent almost our entire teenage lives there). Hope to maybe see a few other forum folks there.

I saw that...wow talk about a flashback, I remember going there when I was 10 or 11...right before they closed. My parents used to go to the "bonanza" flea(no pun intended, it was all dirt...no paved ground in sight)market on 52 and Federal... after a long hike searching for treasures, we'd head over for a hollywood coke...I still remember the girls in those short plad skirts...
COCHARGER, You are going to show the Daytona, right?

Spent the day getting the car polished and all purdy for the car show tomorrow.
Here is a link to a post (http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=237625&postcount=17) about a discussion on Turtle Wax Ice that has some pics of the results today's effort. Hope you enjoy them.

Just a quick update. Had a blast at Bandimere's on Sunday. Loads of cars to look at (something like 700 showed up). Most were older coupes and hotrods with a good showing of some modern Mustangs. Mine was the ONLY Charger (LX anything) entered. Got a prime parking location right next to the walkway right behind the grandstands so I had plenty of folks walking by and giving it an eye.
I have a few pics of some of my favorite cars and will post them once I return from vacation (first roadtrip in the charger, woohoo!) on the 19th.
Best thing about the car show. I was sitting there, watching people go by, and a guy comes over and starts asking question about it. I answered them all to the best of my knowledge. He finally shook my hand and introduced himself... it was none other than Dave Bandimere! He invited me to attend another car show at a church between Kipling and Youngsfield on 32nd on July 2. Will have to contemplate whether to show up or not (not a hard choice, just have to see if it fits the schedule).
I'll catch up with you all when I get back (California or... nope... not going to jinx it!!!).
