Anyways, when do you guys want to do this? I can come to edmonton or Calgary or you guys can come to red deer which is in the center of both :) how does that sound. The dealer is not expecting my srt8 until end of summer or beginning of stepember. But I can always come in my brothers modded buick regal gs supercharged lol. Anyway let me know when we should make the meet. Any suggestions?

Yeah I think we should organize this for start of September? We would also have gathered more numbers by that time... also I might take a visit (and you guys should too) to other srt8 and LX forums, that are from alberta. If people are driving down from other cities, I say we make it worth while! Could be a whole weekend or something, maybe BBQ and highway driving in group etc. The centrium has a lot of room up in red deer also.

AB CHARGER, I like the picture of the big C there. Used to live there a few years ago for two years before my family moved to RD. Was a good place, miss it.

Calgary has some awsome roads to go cruising around in too eh, dang every time we are there visiting friends or w/e, I always think man oh man What I could do with my charger :)

Welcome R/T Chick to the charger forums, and yeah we are planning on a meet in september I think. There are always race car club or "rice" car club lol, meetings friday and saturday nights up in Red Deer.

Yeah since I am leaving for military course june 18th, and the car is supposed to be here end of june(they said it would be here in august).. i knew it was to long and sounded weird. So i wouldnt be here and i don't want to make payments when it's sitting at my house or worse case (people messing with it) Anyway they are giving my deposit back and august 27, the day i get back is the day im putting the downpayment on the 07, so might take 2 months i think maybe sooner maybe a bit later?

Still i get a 07 with a bigger downpayment(car would almost be paid off) and did i say i get an 07? lol.
Our meet will be in soon time, i'll rush them and im only gonna get 1 option group so it shouldnt take more than 2 months probably 1.5. And i would be one of the first in getting my order in hence the release date for the 07 being end of august.

Nope Kingston it's for my first shevron haha, I only joined in the summer of 05.. but sept of 2007 im enrolling into bachelor of science of engineering which i already got accepted into as a officer cadet and graduate as a Cpt Reservist :)

Haha about the driving we'll see :) if you don't run me over with the ranger :(.

But what is cool is im going to be sending the car into henessey for the srt600.. but what isnt cool is I won't have it in my possession for much, until it goes off to get the turbo done. But I hear it's worth the wait hahaha.

Seems like thier is definatly some interest for a meet and greet...I'm game! Not sure about Sep. though? weather may suck? Perhaps August or yeah I guess even early Sep would be fine.

Well now i've seen more SRT-8's floating around at the dealerships around Edmonton , Derrick Dodge and Leduc Chrysler. What makes me mad is that they actually park them out on the road almost , with the hoods popped open to boot. Heck i'm scared to even park mine in a parking lot. I've given up now to keep it original. Just ordered a Magnaflow Exhaust and the Paxton Novi 1500 Blower. I'm mad with the dealership and i'm gonna leave a couple big black strips on there parking lot. Besides i wanta roast some people at the race track with a FAMILY CAR and not my Chevelle.

Ours landed today, my customer is picking it up tomorrow. I took it to the car wash today cause he was coming to see it and it was soooooo dirty from it's train ride.

R/t Chick, Just want to know what # was that car that arrived. The Number is found under the Hood etched in next to the loop that latches, there is a production date and the etched number, i'm figuring the number will be in the 5000 range or higher. But if the new owner picked it up, it's too late. I pulled up to Leduc Dodge yesterday, i must have looked like i was going to jack the car, although i was driving my Srt, the Number on that car was #4921. Sorry if i'm being a pain by asking but many people are interested to find the total production numbers. Maybe i'll run across that Srt this weekend, i'm heading down for the Stampeed, not really caring about putting the extra 600km's on my car. I'm bagging it now, rubber all over the place.

There seems to be lot's of owners in Fort McMurray for sure including our torred, finally got to ride it, have pictures of it doing a breakstand in the Bad Lands. My hubby's favorite picture for sure!

You are right about the number of Chargers in Fort McMurray. I know of seven Charger SRT 8's, five purchased and two at William's Chrysler. I purchased my Charger SRT 8 last November but I seldom drive it because of the local highway repairs and reconstruction. I have seen the Tor Red Charger Daytona around town on a number of occasions.
