18" wheel upgrade option on the SXT

I'm looking at the various SXT options & packages. What's the benefit to getting the 18" wheel option for the average owner?

My current GM car has a sports package that added bigger wheels and a "sportier" suspension from the base model. From reading the Charger information, it looks like the same touring suspension is on the SE, SXT, and base RT which leads me back to why I might want to consider the 18" wheels when ordering? Thanks

Because they look better.....They are the machined finish wheel like on the R/T, not the ugly Silver painted wheel that is standard on the SXT.

if you want 18 i'll sell you mine for 1/2 what a dealer will,tires and all just put 20's on mine

Hey guy's, check out e-bay for the 18" tires and wheels. Just bought a set for my SE. Wheels and tires with center caps and lugs $500.oo plus shipping $110.oo.
They were new take off's with 23 miles on them. I thought it was a good deal. New tires along almost come to same total.
I will use the 17" for winter with snow tires on rear........................ :)

That's exactly what I plan on doing. I want to get some RT wheels with tires for the summer and just throw the stock 17's on in the winter.
