Does the standard exhaust have an X-pipe feature outside of the muffler?
If not, Does the Daytona have this feature or is it contained in the muffler?

I don't have a clue on this one. Most X-pipes (also called cross-overs), are before the muffer(s). For the most part the x-pipe just equalizes the pressure between the two exhaust pipes. I have not ever heard of a cross-over inside a muffler.

This thread (http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1059&highlight=exhaust) shows the exhaust system. .

The standard RT muffler does the equalization in the muffler because the chambers are common for both left and right pipes. Basically the muffler is one crossover pipe with baffles.
I believe the Magnaflow cat back has a crossover in the muffler as well.

The reason I ask is I plan to put headers on my Charger and depending on the sound the stock muffler makes I may leave it on and just replace the resonators.
The Performance group mufflers are supposed to be louder than standard. I have heard the difference in a standard RT exhaust with and without resonator. So I would be concerned about removing the resonators without having a drone killer waiting in the wings.
Anybody have a resonator suggestion?
