Hi guys, just found this site and think I may be here often. Looking to be sort of a convert (from one of the other brands) and get a new RT soon, Question is where is the best dealer to deal with? I live in SW WA. but will go a few miles for a deal. I have paid invoice in all of my other purchases and the dealer still makes out with prep and holdbacks. Are there any Dodge dealers that will deal or do I just go for best quote?

I know it is alittle bit of a drive for you, but give Dave Smith Motors in Kellog Idaho a call.
I bought a Dodge Ram from them back in '99, and origionally ordered my Daytona from them until I found a local dealer who matched their price. (I used to live in Washington)
Basically plan on a deal of about $217 over invoice with NO HAGGLING, just call em up, tell em what you want, and that will be the price they quote you.

people on here will say BS and yeah, thats the deal till you get there, but as a previous customer of theirs, I can attest that the deal they tell you on the phone IS the deal when you get there.

I used to live in MT for MANY years and they advertised all the time in Great Falls. I had lots of friends who bought from Dave Smith and it's true, you get really good price from them. I do believe they are in the top 3 Dodge dealers in the country.

I would suggest Dave Smith in Kellogg, Id. I have in my driveway a silver charger srt8 and love it. I had talked to him a week or to ago about a red charger srt8 for a friend of mine. He said he had one that he was getting rid of for about 39000.

RickyD, if you are looking for a simple time at the dealership, I can provide you with a Control number for the DCX Friends and Family program. This plan offers 1% below Factory Invoice (about 7% off the factory MSRP, less shipping cost). I bought my Charger for 4% under invoice. I believe the Plan I can offer you is 1% under. There is nothing to haggle or debate as this is a set price on the invoice itself. The only hangup is on the trade, these can get pretty tricky as you only have the used car to negociate. Single transactions (just you buying a car, no trade) is the way to go. You can search dealer inventory on the Dodge.com website which lists the MSRP. You have to subtract the shipping cost before applying the discount, then add it back in. Any dealer market adjustments are tossed out as well. It's a good and easy plan to work with. Let me know if you are interested.

Two more local options. I had friends and family pricing so went with the local store. Mike Daniels of Dodge of Bellevue. Best car buying experience I've ever had (about 20 cars). That said, Stan of Lynwood Dodge was offering very competitive pricing. Lynnwood WA is alot closer than ID and sales tax is based on where you live, not where you buy.

The ABSOLUTE BEST place to buy a Dodge ar chevy or any other Daimler Chrysler is at Dave Smith's Dodge in Kellogg, Idaho. They are always selling at 700.00 below invoice and have tons of chargers. They sell more dodges than anyone in the World.

They will deal (at lease here Colorado). And that last day of the month works also. I went on the last day in February and they were foaming at the mouth for a deal.

Well guys I sure appreciate all of the response but impatience and the fact it is the wifes driver brought us home a stone white RT for about invoice from a local dealer. It is equipped with just about everything except the road and track pckg. They even had a factory rear wing installed. We did do a long test drive in a Gomango Daytona, I coulda brought that home but a little too racy for the wife. Now for some bling.

Beaverton Dodge has treated us just fine so far, buying experience and customer service. Have not even had to call Bob on anything yet. :)
My car is at 5200, so far no major problems have surfaced and the minor appearance type stuff has been handled quickly and on a personal basis.
PDXChargerRT didn't pass you going the other way out by Intel this morning
did I? Another Red Charger in Hillsboro if not.

Well, for what it's worth, I have also heard nothing but good things about Dave Smith in Kellogg, ID. But since you have already bought your Charger I thought I would send in one more plug for them! Rock on with your new ride!!!!!
