Mygig issues (losing Sat channels and HD Music)

I have a Mygig RER and for whatever reason it will not keep maintain the Sat Presets and my music that I uploaded to the HD is gone. My AM/FM Presets are fine, and I had 2-3 pictures that I uploaded which are still there. GPS and Uconnect are fine.


Anyone else have this issue?

This has happened to me on 2 different occasions...(just losing music on the HD - I don't have Sat Radio) the first time I lost about 20 CD's and the second time I only had about 5 on there. Very frustrating.
I ended up taking my car to the dealer for another issue and I told them about the problem - so they warrantied my RER and I got a remanufactured one. So far no problems and I have about 20 cd's on there again...
Hopefully this won't happen again...

My issue is I have a 2006 Charger with a 09 MyGig. I bought mine Mygig on ebay....

Ironic, mine just did this.

I have the 9.xxx update and the other week my HD was wiped out. Still haven't gotten around to putting everything back on.

Didn't notice any sat preset issues, and didn't have any pics uploaded on it either.

I was just about to post a similiar question. Battery wasn't unhooked (shouldn't matter) and it happened in literally an hour. Went to the grocery store, came out, and everything was gone.

Well I did a factory restore via the Engineering Menu. Still Seem to have the issue

I am going to check the fuses next....


Q: How do I access the MyGIG engineering menu?
A: You can access the Engineering Menu of the MyGIG by pressing the 3 Hard Keys: SEEK UP - SEEK DOWN - MENU all at the same time. Which will allow you to test your hard drive, restore the system to factory defaults, reinstall corrupt software, Screw up your MyGIG permanently, etc.. Please be VERY careful when using this menu.

Hey, this just happened to me today. I have the MyGig with Nav and have about 15 gb of music on the hard drive. Today all music was gone just like that. I thought if I copied some audio files over to the HDD with the USB they'd end up all showing up again. The couple of tracks I added show up, but the rest still don't. I know they are still there because it says all the space is still taken up under the Manage HDD tab. Any ideas?

If you have the RER radio you may want to update to the most current update, which is 2.043.

2.043 does not have the clock fix for 05-07 cars

I loaded 2.043 and still have the preset issues.
