install 8" boston acoustic sub 06 SXT?

I noticed that I already have the speaker connection on mounting hole for the boston acoustic 8 inch woofer. I picked up the factory woofer and installed it but no sound. Do i need to upgrade the factory amp?:rolleyes2:

I don't know for sure, but I think that sub has its own amp or at least a separate output from the main amp, like you said. I've thought about doing this too. I hope you get it figured out
