View Full Version : Is my radio fuse blown? PLEASE HELP!

I was installing my pioneer 4100DVD in my car today, the solid yellow wire from the PAC harness touch the back of the pioneer and there was a spark. After that i was not getting any power to the pac harness and the pioneer radio. I tested the factory radio with the factory harness and the factory did not come on, it did not have no power. Is my radio fuse blown?

you answered your own question. and why were you splicing wires with the pac piece pluged in?

I am connecting the wires from the PAC harness to the pioneer 4100 DVD wire harness.

when i was connect the PAC harness to the pioneer harness do I connecnt blue and white wire to the remote wire on the pioneer harness to get the factory amp to work with the aftermarket radio

sorry the blue and white wire comming from the PAC harness to the remote wire on the aftermarket harness
