I've been thinking about putting a train horn on my Charger so I just want some input if thats a good idea, and if so what type is best recommended.

Saw it done on a co-workers 300.
Personally, they seem only to be used for scaring the shyte out of people. My reckoning is eventually your gonna piss off the wrong person, and find your car keyed.
Think about if this way. If you really want to have it so people do hear you if they do something stupid like swerve/cut in front of you, I think hearing a f'ing train horn go off right near them would make them do something even more stupid, like completely stop if they turned in front of you.
Pass for me...:slap:

Go for it. Just be careful where you mount it. It can actually crack the plastic radiator if mounted under the hood. Most mount it underneath the car.
Or be different, and mount it on the roof. And then wear an engineers cap,
and you will be all set. "All aboard !!!!":bigthumb:

Flex has a Stebel 134db horn. The company is outside of the US, but you can buy the horns on ebay and Amazon. Amazon is cheaper from what i have seen.
But agree about the train horn. You are going to eventually piss people off with that to the point they will retaliate.
Train horn might be over-doing it.
I have a Stebel Nautilus 134dB Truck Air Horn on my Charger, and I like it.
There's a couple sound clips in the first post of this thread:

PM me if you need more info, but this guy IS in the US.

Only the stock horn sounds when I lock my doors.
The air horn doesn't have time to go off.
