Hi, I am considering upgrading my OEM head unit. I have an RT road and track and don't have nav. I've searched long and hard and found I need a NAV BEZEL and Radio Kit for starters. I don't necessarly need a Nav radio unit as I do have a portable nav.

My questions are that I do like my uconnect but know the aftermarket units have bluetooth which you can upgrade. What would be the main advantages/disadavantages over bluetooth on an aftermarket unit vs. Uconnect?

The other thing I really am curious aobut would be which "steering wheel control module" would be best? I do have EVIC and from what i've read i'd need to get a steering wheel CAN/BUS module or something? I've seen a few different models but would like to know what would be the most reliable?

Any thoughts or input?

It's very important that you list the YEAR of the vehicle that you have.

Since you are bringing up the nav bezel, from this information, I am assuming that you have either a 2006 or 2007 Charger. The radios are different than what's on a 2008+ Charger.

The UCONNECT is basically what allows you to give it voice commands.

On most aftermarket units that have bluetooth, you can usually give it voice commands, so verify on which units you are looking at.
