I was on my way to Statesboro GA on Saturday and I passed a a Blue Charger, I think I remember it being blue, pulled over on the East bound side. Hope they went easy on you.

That will be me the first week of JUne. I used to haul azz on 16. I guess I'll be careful now that my secret stretch is out :)

My Daughter is going to be starting college at Southern in the Fall. I graduated from there back in 84 and I-16 was nothing but a drag strip back then. You were lucky to see another car. Now you have to be very careful.

Ugh I used to cut over an hour off my trip going that way. Bummer, I have to use it in 2 months. Bleh.

More importanly, be careful up near Forsyth (GPSTC). In that area, you have a whole bunch of GSP Troopers that will hump anything that moves. Even I watch the ol' 10 mph rule when they are out.

I-16 does not go up to Forsyth, but you should definitely watch your speed on I-75 going through Forsyth. It used to be really bad, when they first raised the speed limits back up to 70 they kept the speed limit through that section of I-75 at 55. It hasn't really been that long ago that they raised it, and it still is only 65.
