Well, I cannot answer your question because I do not know your mechanical ability. I can however post an install pdf, but not for the Charger. We do not have a PDF file of the Charger door sills, but I do have one for the 300. Download this file and it will give you a good idea of the install process. From this you should be able to determine if this is something you would like to tackle yourself, or to sublet out. I can warn you and anyone else that is thinking about these though. Be extremely careful with the wire leads where they connect to the sills, this is prone to breaking very easily rendering the sills inoperable.

depends on your ability...i did mine and it wasn't difficult at all...the directions are descent, but w/ one mistake...it tells you that there are no screws to be removed when taking off the panel beneath the steering wheel...wrong, theres two screws, one on the left side of the dash and the other by the hood latch...other than that all the moldings are easy to take off and put on...you run the line thru the glove box behind the center console to the driver side (you should be able to do it w/out a snake)...the only issue may be saudering the wire connection...pick one up at your local hardware store (battery/screw driver size)...you'll save yourself a cple $100...when your done you will be proud and happy you diy...almost forgot its some what of a btch to put the right side windshield trim back in...wierd looking black male/female clip...take out by pressing ends together and place on trim first and then snap back into place...all your connections are at that location, by the right side of the windshield..

good luck guys...try to give yourself at least 1-2 hrs for install...you won't notice them untill night...maybe because they are red you will notice them more...you don't realy need all those tools...

I agree, I have seen the SRT ones and they look sweet. Better than the Charger ones in my opinion. Obviously I cant pu the SRT ones on since I have the daytona without lookink like a D-Bag but if I had the choice I would go SRT hands down.

no i was refereing to srt's only...for the r/t's, the red charger lighted door sill is nasty looking too...actualy the red would show much better than the white srt...

I want to thank Jeff at the MoparSuperCenter for handling my order so well. I called mine in rather than going on the web. He gave me a date of when to expect shipment and he hit it right on the money.

The installation took me 2 hours, and someone more familiar with removing and installing interior trim panels could do it in less. The guards don't really show up in the daylight but they show up nicely in reduced light.

The instructions might have had a couple of minor errors but nothing a little applied reasoning couldn't figure out. The hardest part of the whole installation was the re-attachment of the right a-post cover.
