I cant decide, i dont want to get a whole new set of rings right now but i do want those fogs. I would love to run the white all the time and the green for shows/meets.

Wes or Steve can you post a pic of lets say a white bullet ring next to a regular white ring? Or can you throw out an opinion?

Someone Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that you cut the lense off just like a regular fog light halo install, drill a little hole or two for the wires, and after you epoxy your rings down you glue the lense back on...pretty straight forward.

no pearl, you dont cut the headlights open.. you bake them, then gently pry them open.. on the fogs i believe you have to actually saw them open from the sides..

If you dont want new Headlight halos right now but you will later, go with the Bullets right now, make it easy on yourself. We dont have any pics of any Fog rings yets.

You must cut open the fog light where the lense meets the plastic housings and then glue it back on. Its not the hardest install. I dont not recommend using a regular hand saw though unless you feel real comfortable with one. I would definitly use some sort of electric saw.

I updated the options with new fog housings with install for $149. I dont think they come with the wiring thou, I think its just housings.

thanks wes... im gonna order the completed fogs... let me talk it over with the wifey first because she wants me to get her some new 20's or 22's for her Lexy.. but regardless, you know me, i got monies stashed in all different kinds of places so it wont be an issue if she says no... i will just have to make something up when she notices them, and since shes not a car nut--i dont think she will even notice them at all.. really.... and did my other order ship out yet.. the small ambers?

and no worries on teh wiring either as my charger already has the harness preinstalld.... just no sure about the power switch though, but then i think i would have to get it starscanned to get them to work properly.. well unless i just run them on their own circuit, and since im gonna wire up my current halos to seperate switches anyway i guess running a few more wires wont be a big deal. and i actually dont even care if teh fogs light up as i would only power the halos to be on... maybe.. i might change my mind if i go with hids down there.....

Ok, the price of new Foglight housings and the price of installing the Halos are $149 for the group buy. So you will have to add what ever price the GB gets down to on top of that. Dos this answer you question?

well i could take a pic, but my single colored ones are 10k, and my duals are like 6 or 8k and amber.. so not the same... however my tiny amber rings are a little different shade of amber than the ones on my bigger ones.. not a big deal though, no complaints

gotta take some more but my cam is at a friends and i need to open one of them back up anyway. getttin a little condensation in it.. gonna apply the silicone in the grooves this time around.. i guess i opened them up one to many times and some damp air is entering and on the other i didnt apply enough epoxy to the tiny ring and it has fallen. and plus the top 3 leds are intermittantly working so steve sent me some replacements already but i jsut havent had time to redo it all again... maybe this weekend, and i also plan on wiring them reversed. so the ambers are lit full time and the white as the blinker.. because the whites overpower the ambers alot and cant really tell the ambers are flashing when i have the whites on. but with the whites off you can see the ambers blinking clearly... so im gonna rewire them differenly since i have to redo the whole process again basically.. still, no complaints though.. steve has been more than helpful. just hopeing he would like to make me an authorized installer for my area.... how are the ones i did for you holding up slim.. my work still on point? just askin since i havent seen ya in a minute and these whole headlight conversion things are new to me, but pretty simple, for me anyway so im just following up while we are chatting

Most of these regulators went to the Bullet headlight group buy since they were waiting longer. We also had another group buy on another forum that got these too since they were also waiting longer.

When we started these group buys in July we did not expect to have to redesign our halos. We thought the problem with the voltage was going to be an easy fix. We later found out what we needed to do and went ahead and changed them. We thought we had enough time before the GB ended but we had some delays that we had to deal with that set us back. All this was done so you all, our customers, could have the very best product out there and so you dont have to worry about them going out(as long as they are wired correctly). We do offer a lifetime warranty but dont you all agree that it would be better if you dont have to use that? I'm asking you all to stretch your patients a little more. More regulators are coming and the more we get, the more kits will be sent out. As always, they will be sent out based on who has payed in full and who hasn't.

Got mine in today tobad the car is in the booth gettin ready to be two toned might have to run down there and pick the fog light up since they are out cause of the paint job.

Bottom half will be black top will be titanium with a red pin strip to seperate the colors. Quick question when wiring these up how can i put a switch so that i can turn them on and off when i want? also i have the headlight halos but they are 12V so im guessing i cant hook them up to the the circuit board thing you guys sent with the fog halos?

Correct, you cant hook them up to the regulator as is. We are going to be finding a resistor people can hook to the fog halos so the regulator can be turned up to 12v and everything will run at 12v safely. I'll have to email you the guide to install a switch.

i still need to get on this group buy and also the tail halo group buy... i talked with steve about it though and he is sill gonna take care of me when im ready to do so... ii have just been finishing up some big money mods first though, so naturallty i chose to hold off on these since i have teh older kinds that dont require the resistor box thing.. still tryin to think of a proper clean way of wiring them up all together. teh heads, fogs, tails and a few of the rings for some custom cutout spots whem im finished with all my new mods i have been doing.

You can connect them all together. I have my grille lights, scoop scanner, fogs, & my headlights all connected to a wireless remote and then the wireless remote connected to the regulator. Everything is working fine so far. I don't have the headlights connected yet and I am replacing the grille lights because alot of them burned out from over voltage. I will keep everyone posted on how it works. I also have my tails wired into a wireless remote as well.

It was my understanding that you could use the body of the light as sort of a guide. People have aso used a back saw when not having access to a band saw....good luck.

We cut them open where the lens meets the housing. Its the easiest place to seal them back up also.

Hey Gus, No negative needed on that connection. Wire your hot to #1, your + from your halo to anything between #2 & #7, your - from your halo to anything between #10 & #16, Then your + from your running to #8. You could also put a toggle on this wire to turn them off even if your running lights are on. Make sense? Not yet had the shop do the key hole delete while she was gettin painted also had them fill in the license plate holes on the front bumper and had them ghost the third break light and tails they better hand her over soon or else I'm gonna go bbroke in adding more idea while the have her. Should have keys in hand Thursday and Saturday afternoon ill tackle the fog halos can't wait so many mods have been done in a two week period gonna look like a whole new ride
