Here is some good info -
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) . For best results, consider working with performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers. If your vehicle manufacturer fails to honor emission/warranty claims, contact EPA at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov. If federal warranty protection is denied, contact the FTC at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov. For additional information, check out the following links:

See that? The number one key. While knowing your rights is important, getting satisfaction under these laws will sometimes require heroic efforts, including the
retaining of counsel,
large sums out of pocket,
lost work days
and still there's a good chance you will lose. Rmember, if you don't have a gearhead judge, it's your bull against the companies, and they can afford to pile it higher and deeper.

T Byrne said it all, when he suggested you buy from a Performance Oriented Dealer. Heck , we have sold folks catback exhausts for Vipers and had other Dealers try to deny coverage. We intervened, politely , and things got handled. Usually where you really run into problems is when you start doing internals, and this makes common sense. The Moss/Magnuson Act protects both parties so keep that in mind.

Plus, if you purchased an aftermarket extended warranty, you can throw that in the trash, the first question they always ask is if the car has been modified...sometimes they will even send out an adjuster if they think something is up...F.Y.I.

Guys thanks for the info. I have owned trucks before my R/T before the term S.U.V. came to life. Performance was never my thing. Of course, now I want to edge out every bit of HP I can (and then some).
I don't know of a performance minded dealer in the South Florida area. Hopefully someone will chime in and point me in the right direction.
Oh almost forgot....PLANET DODGE SUCKS!
and
Motorcraft is made out of peeeeeeepole........its peeeeeeeeeeople!
