Has anyone added this XM feature? I have a Rec Nav and just drove though some serious rain, and we've used XM weather on our aircraft.....just wondered if someone had it on their Nav.

Not sure that you can add it to a stock radio, as all of the Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep radios are all Sirius supported!

D/C/J does not deal with XM Radio!

To do this, you would have to go with an aftermarket radio that supports XM.

From http://www.xmwxweather.com/get-xmwx-weather/:

In order to receive and display XM WX weather data, you will need the following:

•an XM WX-capable receiver
•an XM-capable antenna
•a compatible display device
•a subscription to XM WX Satellite Weather
Please contact individual hardware manufacturers with specific questions you have on hardware solutions; contact information is located on the individual manufacturer pages.

Unfortunately, I do not believe the D/C/J vehicles have this!

LOL, I know...I guess I should have quoted something different.

I was just using that, as one of the other people mentioned that it is why it possibly should work.
